Gentle off to cas, so let's forget him.
I've gone Powell out of the coach's that have been linked to the job.
He's done a brilliant job at fev, is a disciplinarian, knows the area and gas a burning desire to do well in SL after being treat badly at leeds.
He has fev playing a good brand of footy that I'd be happy to see us playing.

One or two of their posters seem absolutely convinced that it's a done deal and that they're just waiting for the best time in PR terms to announce it; I can't imagine why he would go there, but stranger things have happened.

Talk is he agreed to join Cas but backed out before the deal was signed. Negotions are ongoing to try and rectify the situation, hence why Cas' announcement has been delayed. Its expected that the deal will go through shortly though. |

Wayne Bennett is the best coach ever so he would be my choice, if its to be an aussie Graham Murray would be a good choice. Closer to home Daryl Powell or Francis Cummings would be popular choices I feel

Daryl Powell hasn't applied for any other jobs, he's happy at Fev and isn't looking to move. Maybe different if an approach for his services was to be made but he's not actively looking for a job elsewhere at this moment in time. Done a great job at Fev and I wouldn't have been disappointed if he had applied and got the job.
