| Quote gowerthegroap="gowerthegroap"Totally agree. The coaching decision should start the whole process. Once that is sorted, it's then down to finance and ambition. Do we have either? There is no reason why we shouldn't have.
We have to break the mould of signing relative unknown overseas players. From a marquee NRL players perspective, there are only so many overseas places available to play for the clubs in super league. And hell, it's not like the NRL is short of marquee players who look to move to these shores. So why shouldn't we be A.an attractive option for these players, and B.going out of our way to attract them?

Decisions, decisions. Could make for quite the interesting evening at the fans forum... on August 2nd... at Belle Vue... doors open 7.00pm*[/size
*shameless plug...'"
Is that the same event which allows fans to get a comprehensive update and ask key personnel questions for a couple of quid which is then reinvested into the club???

Is that somewhere in Horbury, Wakefield or is it a junior team at Westgate Redoubt?

I believe entry is free, although if you are not already a member of the Supporters Trust then it would be a good night for you to join.
(Another shameless plug!!)

It certainly is. Did you know Andrew Glover, James Elston with the possibility of other club personalities will also be present? AND there is food and drink!!

Will the food and drink be plentiful, of high quality and be reasonably priced and readily available?

Not exactly, you can ask any personal question you like for as much money as you want to donate, but if the question is of an embarrassing nature it will just be lumped in with the un- embarrassing questions for a standard fudged reply.

| Quote WakeyManDan8="WakeyManDan8"I agree with both of these posts. We need to get rid of the likes of Tadulala, Smith, Tony, Korkidas, etc and start signing quality overseas stars (like Solomona, Betham, Tronc, etc). If we sign Witt, O'Hara, Withers and Chan then I would be impressed! I'd also like Ah Van to join, and maybe someone like Lauaki to add some fire up front. These may not be big name overseas signings but they are realistic for us atm, and they are much better than Smith and co.'"
Lauaki possibly the worst overseas signing in history. He's so poor I'm not even convinced he ever played RL before he arrived at Hull. I'm sure someone called Lauaki did but not this geezer. Terrible player absolutely terrible, I'd actually prefer we kept Hickey at least he gives away less penalties.

| My words were "someone like Lauaki". Im not saying that we need him, but we do need an agressive forward (preferably from New Zealand) to come and bulk us up in the forwards.
