the game went sour when SL came in and its all about golden hand shakes and personel agenda's, this has been my opinion for years and i see more things going on every year to convince me i'm right, anyone who thinks the game is 100% clean and upfront is a blind fool IMO
Rugby League lost its soul when it took the money and sh@t on the lower leagues |

What irriates me more than anything is the Crusaders guy got a game changing 10 mins for knocking the ball down. Yet a cynical highly dangerous "tackle" ( Guilty verdict ) recieved in the end no more than a small fine.
It makes no sense at all.

I dont for a minute think Buderus's tackle was "cynical" but it could have been seen as dangerous. I am sure Bedsy's excellent disciplinary record was taken into account during the appeal.
I personally think the decision on appeal was correct especially as previous tackles such as this have gone unpunished..........yet I do fear it is going to take someone being seriously injured (malice or not in the tackle) for the spear tackle to be addressed. |

Which actually just makes it worse.
Yes, Danny we know you're guilty but we wouldn't like you to miss an important playoff game. Please forgive us, the original footage we saw was in black and white so we didn't realise what colour shirt you were wearing. Having now seen it is blue and yellow we are reducing your punishment to a fine only. |
