Dunno but also remember Roonaldo had trouble over his fanzine a couple of years back. Anything like a fanzine or forums have to be kept seperate from the club.

Like the idea of the fans profiles - honestly thought about doing that for the match programme at one time. I think we all have a tale to tell - and an explanation to give as to why we do follow the Mighty Trin!

dunno the details but was sort of stuff mods take off here, you know having a go at real people, or organisations!
basically you are running a newspaper whether you like it or not, and are subject to the same rules, but not having the resources to insure yourself against lawsuits, so best to stick to known facts and as little personal stuff as you can get away with whilst remaining intresting to your target group.

A lot of the stuff that gets posted on here, if you posted it on a non forum site could get you in bother, you know, this or that player isnt trying, the council this that or the other, this director is only in iot fior ...... etc etc, basically because you are posting it as opinion , wheras with a owned site your stating it as fact.

however thats the down side the up side is it could be great, but id start small and let it grow rather than aim too high and let it flop.

A lot of the football fanzines get away with some pretty outrageous stuff there are ways round these things changing names ect.

agreed, lets face it theres hardly enough info to fill programme and official site, and all the other rumours come through here.

as a fanzine though you have a different basis say, half based on fact half based on character humour? the new site is never going to get first pick of the real stuff because club site or prog will want it, so it has to have its own material source, maybe interviewing past players? where are they now stuff etc etc

He was but it was pretty good to say he did it all himself. Twas pretty close to the bone but then some would say that's how a fanzine should be, minus the pics of kids of course!

its with doubt a big task to get this website running smoothly and kept up to date, adam has spent a lot of time with the basis of what will get better, with the help of fans that could take time out and do small snippets it would help enormously.

this won't happen over night and ideas are running strong, I would like to hear that we have the backing from the club as for the news we don't want to put on hearsay / rumours,
the site should back up the club and also help the supporters in picking up information that they may require with quick links

That's the big Daddy we are going to try and sort out. I tried to do it before but now with more people involved it has more of a chance at taking off, it could be very interesting.

front page fan news, dates, social stuff, charity stuff, games, travel to away games etc

rumours gossip and heresay with and unnamed players aunties neighbours friend.

Fan in the stand problem page, in my minds eye hes got a pie in one hand a cloth cap and hes enraged at everything waving his pie about.

then 2 or 3 random pages each time, based on current events, like today you could write a review of the adam cricket match include interviews with fans and players, if trb didnt want to use that for prog of course.

serious stuff like proper orbituaries of players who pass on written by the fans who loved to watch them play etc etc

Off on a tangent, and one that no-one can answer I guess, who owns the copyright to the original WLIC's? Would be nice to see some of those scanned and reproduced online for those who weren't around to read Clarkie's original stuff.

yeah agreed, and to be honest bet it was never copyrighted.
