The majority of folk in Barnsley are more football mad than the wiganers are about RL...it might not pay dividends to flood the barnsley area with rugby league adverts.

Can't hurt though, particularly during the football off season (if there is such a thing!). Even if only 1000 take up any offers its worth it.

on a serious note....there is a 'big' sl club in massive decline and rumoured to be in a lot of financial trouble....not to mention, they play in the clay pit that is odsal....

Theres quite a few Wakey fans from Barnsley I think we even had a supporters branch in Barnsley back in the day (60s) It's a good idea to tap into the Barnsley market but we need to make sure we look after the Wakefield schools first of all. cas have to look outside of there own area because there's not many schools in cas compared to Wakefield.
