My goodness - I own 53 of the albums on that list! 
Still don't agree with it - there will always be too much emphasis on the contemporary - i.e. stuff that's hip now but that will fall away over time.
No 80 should be way higher in that list BTW!  |

| I too own a fair few on that list.
Music is all about personal choice, we know, but there are rip-offs and influences, and there is a huge difference.
I would have had Joni Michell (Blue), and Manics (Holy Bible) higher than they are, and how come no Kinks?? 
With regards Grandads and Young 'uns, why does age make musical taste an issue?

I know what you mean, but the poll in question was 2006 - the only albums that I would say are quite a lot 'artificially' high would be say:
The Killers
THe Kaiser Cheifs
Franz Ferdinand
Keane
Everything else, whilst probably jostling for position a bit, would remain fairly constant if the poll was done in another 10 years or so I reckon. |
