Good on you! I will too.
The true Trinity fans I’m sure will continue supporting the club.

| Despite last nights result, I enjoyed the atmosphere in the north stand but I did look around near the end & wonder how many will return next season. Last night was the hard core support but we’ll lose some with the relegation, but hopefully make some up with the new stand. I am intrigued how our support will hold up next year because we lost a quite a few with the enforced relegation at the birth of SL.

With the takeover happening I’m excited and looking forward to the future.
Up the Trin

| First year supporting The Trin. (yeah I feel guilty, like I jinxed them!)
I managed to get to a couple of home games. Lost both (Leigh 0-32 and Cas 12-2icon_cool.gif, but loved the North Stand. Managed to take in one away game too - no guesses, we lost that too.
I'm stuck with them now and will be back next season. Hopefully I'll see them win one day.
(can't get to too many games as I live a long way away and got other football/cricket commitments. But I've loved the few games I've been to, and have been impressed with what a great sport it is and great fans here)

Good on yer mate.
I sincerely hope the public of Wakefield continue to support the club even though we will be dropping down!

A process of elimination really!
I'm not a glory hunter, so wasn't going to support one of the successful sides.
I didn't want a team that played in the same town/city as a football club.
I wouldn't follow a club whose primary colour is red.
I like a club with an old fashioned ground, rather than a soulless new stadium.
I wanted a club with a proper name, rather than one with a made-up animal name suffix. (ok, really fussy now)
And preferably a place with decent rail links, so I can get up from the South.
So that basically left Wakefield Trinity.
After 14 games this season, I was wondering what on earth I'd got myself into. But things have improved since then, although it's looking like not quite enough.

Apart from the rail link you could have ended up at Cas.

Pity your other commitments prevented you from seeing the Leeds, Salford, Wigan and Warrington home games. You'd have been suitably impressed.
Hope you'll pop in a few times next season.

Funny you say that. It did end up as a toss-up between the two.
Heads or tails and it was going to be Cas. If the coin landed on its edge, it was Trin. No guesses what happened!

Typical.
That's the trouble when you use a 50p coin!

| There's nothing better than when the North Stand is bouncing, especially when we win (unexpectedly) and it's a real shame that it's capacity was cut with the "rebuild".
As for supporting Trinity, it's in our blood, it's certainly not for the glory but, hopefully, one day............................
