The choice is Batch or Gaskell. I'm torn which one I'd pick.

Jowitt is in the reserves squad tonight away at Bradford, but for me the obvious choice would be to put Jowitt back to FB and put Gaskell in centre.
Batch did very well at centre but I'd rather have him playing back row.

I noticed in the pre match interview there was no question asked about when TJ would be returning........ Has to be Gaskell or Batch doesn't it? Unless WP has a shock selection up his sleeve.

If Jowitt doesn't play then it would have to be Batch to the centre I'd guess.

If we gave Croft a chance against Saints, surely we can give him a chance against this Wolves outfit?

As I understand, Under the terms of his lease, Trinity can’t recall Croft until after this weekend.

You would think so, I agree. If I recall his injury at first was not described as a groin injury, but less than that, and I thought he'd probably miss a couple of games. If he had a groin injury then they can go on for months ( I remember back as far as Jan Prinsloo he had one that lasted about 6 months if I remember rightly!)

I remember Neil Fox had 'deep seated ' groin strain which kept him out of cup final team in '68. Then it robbed him of captaining the GB tourists in '68 with Bev Risman taking over.

Johnstone is injured. We may see him but if it’s a groin would be a number of weeks.

If he has signed elsewhere then we may very well see a few hopefully amazing TJ specials before he ventures out.

If he hasn’t then it’s a terrible time for the lad to pick up an injury. Many teams would have taken a chance on him I gather but with another seemingly medium term injury it could derail any potential offers.

With Murphy playing as he is doing it looks to me like he is the future at left wing. If a deal hasn’t been agreed anywhere for TJ we may due to his recent injury find ourselves in the driving seat for his signature once again.

Well Wigan put the cue on the rack and let Salford get 12 undeserved points in the last 5 minutes. If my sums are right it now means we need to win on Sunday by 32 to jump over Salford simultaneously Wire..

Now that’s a challenge to lay down to the team. Make no mistake we will have to be fully focused and ready to rip in against Wire. They look like a team to me who rip in early but as time progresses tend to drop off. A strong aggressive start will be exactly what’s needed on Sunday.

I’m more confident than I was. They have a bit of size in the pack so it is vitally important we dominate them in the forwards and take advantage out wide.

We could be talking about being on the edge of playoffs after Sunday if the attitude is bang on.
