Did I not hear that the NRL are going to release an app for their matches or a subscription service

I've seen something about an app: £22 a month or yearly for £125

Games apparently going to Sky though

I've just emailed them to clarify this and if so, have cancelled my renewal

Wish I'd known this before I paid £99 just before the world cup!

As I understood it the NRL are doing a pp view channel, free if you're with their phone network, and SKY will take secondary rights, we'll probably get recorded games rather than live.

I've noticed they're still putting anad for NRL on Premier on this site

I've got an email back acknowledging my cancellation from 4th March but they didn't mention losing the NRL contract !!

I called to ask.
They said they did not currently have the rights but were hopeful for the future.
I cancelled.....and registered my interested for the NRL app.

I cancelled in October knowing they werent getting NRL in 2018 and the rest of the world cup would be on BBC. It was great to record every NRL game then choose which ones to watch, I cant see us been able to do that in the future.
Reguarding RL on TV i have just got all SKY sports channels put back on after they sent me a offer of £15 a month guarenteed for three years with no contract.

Sky Sports are showing 2-3 NRL games a week this year. Just announced.

Cancelled Premier Sports from February, a shame, I enjoyed watching them.

Does it say who will be commentating on these games?
I liked the set up on Premier and their Footy show was pretty good too.

It will be fox sports coverage, so no channel 9 commentary.

fox over here have a dedicated NRL channel rugby league 24hrs a day! its the best- it where we get all the sky super league games LIVE as well,

at the moment they are having Club days where they show famous games from the past for your club.

what wakey games you think would be on it?

the one I was actually at when we won at salford to stay up in 2001 I think surely....and the cup final victories and the million pound match nymore?

I will keep Premier but only now for the Championship coverage granted its Toronto but still.
