| I agree, lots of positives from that game and if a couple of things had stuck in our favour we'd have won. The clubs need to really promote themselves, there's a core of 3-3.5k fans but nobody else comes. We seem to have lost the floating fans this year, perhaps they've gone to another club or perhaps they've stopped following league. Something needs to be done to get them back into the club though or we won't be needing a new ground.

| Positives, we have a good team and we we're the world famous Wakefield Trinity RLFC.
As for crowds we have a hardcore 4K which has gone up from the last 2 seasons. Uncertainty regarding stadium effects some support and the state of Belle Vue effects home and more so away support. The excellent way MC is running our club and the good stuff the team is playing this season we deserve more support and we will get bigger gates we've only had 2 Sunday games so far and never been on Sky so much which does effect crowds.
Ground uncertainty and club future uncertainty will effect crowds and would do at any club.
Keep team playing well, finally get community stadium sorted and we have a good future and crowds will keep increasing and we will have a good future as a club.

Losses like yesterday do absolutely nothing to keep fans coming let alone bring in any more.

| The biggest crowd killer for floating fans is Leeds Utd and they were at home in a crunch play off game. 32000 crowd and many were most likely from Wakefield.

| Lots of positives from yesterday. Defence was excellent considering 2nd game for many in 3 days, they struggled to create much mainly because the outside backs defended very well. Like has already been said, both centres did a pretty good job. Wasn't sure about Hirst from what i'd seen, but he was very good yesterday, better leg drive, and a couple of decent offloads. I thought Kirmond actually looked quite threatening for a change, almost broke the line a couple of times. Turning point for me was when Grix was extra man linking, and he got fingertips to the pass, if that had gone to hand midway through the 2nd half I think we would have scored and probably gone onto win......fine margins!
Negatives, injuries starting to creep in, Ashurst went off early, Hadley maybe doubtful, but we do have lots of cover in the back row. We still don't seem to have found right half back combo. If, and it is if, Williams is brought back for Warrington, that would probably be 3 different combinations 3 games running, I think he needs to give the same two whoever they may be at least 4 or 5 games together. Warrington have obviously improved, but they are just limping over the line in games, no reason why we can't win there, just need to be sharper and more clinical when opportunities present themselves.....

| Williams and Finn seem to be the best combo for me. Miller is just too off the cuff, so much so even he doesn't know what he's doing most of the time. It seemed to work with him coming on as an impact player against tiring forwards.

I agree Miller coming on as opposition tires seem to work well

| I agree KK...not sure whether he'd like it but Miller from the bench looks best option to me...Finn has to start...our worst three halfs of the season so far...Leeds/Leeds/Cas were when Finn was not on...
Thought we just lacked a little something yesterday in the final quarter...Wood playing 80 minutes and doing 44 tackles against a big Wigan pack who continually picked him out may have been one reason...Miller looks such a good option against a tiring team in broken play while Finn and Williams control the game far better...
Clark being banned for Warrington is another positive for Saturday!

I agree. He's out most creative half and can break the line at will if he gets a decent pass. Its just his decision making. He either ends up creating something from nothing or having a brain explosion but to be honest I think Finn and Miller is a better combo than Williams and Miller/Finn. I don't really see what Williams offers that Finn doesn't and having Miller in makes us unpredictable.

| I agree - Miller is a real x factor kind of player; he must be an absolute nightmare to defend against, because predicting what he's about to do is almost impossible. The downside of course, is that I don't think he knows what he's about to do most of the time - so trying to support him as a teammate must be equally nightmarish. If he could dial down the unpredictability a few notches and be slightly more consistent - he'd be one of the best; but then he wouldn't play for us.
Other positives - Arona is becoming a machine at LF, and Gibson had a good debut after that horrible injury; he's really skillful, and when he gets rid of the cobwebs, I think he'll make things happen. I also liked Hirst's contribution - he's a handful when he hits the line and when he grows in confidence, his offload game will be an asset.

| The negative aspect of the crowds is a concern.
Can't honestly see this changing that much at the moment, or until they look at the marketing aspects of the club and selling memberships.
I, along with several others think that a mini season ticket would be a good idea for those who cant commit, membership packages to have the option of replica shirts being included and a slight reduction in the cost of the ticket, could help bring in more people through the turnstiles.
On top of this, capturing data from members to see if there are any regions in the district that are staying away from the club. If that could be identified, then maybe a marketing campaign to try to bring those from that area into the club.
Maybe, hopefully whenever Newmarket happens some of the above could be looked at, we may end up with good attendances

| We can't attract big crowds because of the lack of belief that we will win a game. Even with a good points start it's touch and go that we will hold on for a win. The fans are let down on a regular basis. Winning teams get good crowds as supporters are very fickle as it showed at Leeds last season when they were on the slide. A good run of victories is what's needed not an odd one or two!
