| I agree derbies with Cas should bring out more in us. They never do though.
I would only make two changes in the backs, Tansey and Walton in for Johnstone and Arundel.

| Don't have a clue who he'll go with on Sunday, but it would not surprise me if he left Johnstone out and maybe Annakin in for Kirmond

| One game in and already talking about chopping and changing.
How you going to get continuity?
Give the same team a chance to redeem themselves on Sunday and if they are still not performing after about 4 games, then make some changes.
We have a squad that should make the starting 17 realise they have to perform, or be ousted.

| I would have thought that the main changes to be made are that players don't drop the ball; I couldn't get to the game, but having watched the highlights on the SL show, we seem to have been undone by a couple of errors - without those, it was a close affair.

My reference to Annakin in place of Kirmond was based purely on Danny's injury when he had to come off against Widnes.
My thoughts on Tom Johnstone stemmed from the Cas friendly where Solomona made him look tactically naive in his positioning when defending, as I said it would not surprise me if Smith did not let him sit this particular one out.

| I reckon it will be the same team apart from possibly kirmond missing out, BS sounded to me to think he probably should not have played on sunday.
Maybe Simon to replace kirmond if he is fit.

Are you for real!
The amount of games we have won at Cas in recent years is astonishing - you are actually a Trinity fan? You certainly talk some tosh.

Correct but this board has defended to new levels of idiocy in my humble opinion so good luck with that one.

| Don't think we need too many changes to be honest. Maybe drop fetch Walton in who would add a bit of aggression to us.
The talk of dropping Johnstone is pure ridiculous. The pass was on to BJB and if BJB took the ball rather than looking to see who was coming at him, he would've been down the pitch.

No because of his overall peformences in pre season including his oppisate winger scoring 4.hes only a kid and needs to be looked after confidence wise.
You need to get of your high horse and stop thinking only your views matter

| Johnson only a kid ? isn`t he 20 / 21. His defence is dire , he is same age as Manfredi , Burgess. For me we should be looking to loan him out to a lower division side with a coach who can work with him as we cannot afford his mistakes.. The concern is that the obvious flaws in his game were evident when he was in our age group teams, so either the coaches were not good enough to improve him to correct standard or he does not have the ability. The obvious natural speed and ability he has in attack and his work ethic must mean we should work with him. As I say send him out to John Kear or another top coach for the season and see what we get back.
