| They've got Widnes, according to the super league site. I'm hoping for a draw.

Is this the RFL's way of ensuring they don't finish bottom?? Send them to Wakey wo don't have a team to play them as we are elsewhere and therefore London get awarded 2 points for a forfeited game??

| Don't think Salford away is an out and out four pointer but Bradford the following week definitely is - that is the game that will give us some idea as to what sort of a team we really have.

Not sure about that. Set up for a fall. 1st game Sunday - second game Thursday! Tough ask!

I think they have a stronger squad than us - not a better team - but it may come into play!

Maybe not by the time kick off comes around. I think its right to say the Bradford game is massive and a major barometer as to how we are likely to go this year.

| Bradford's first three fixtures go a long way in explaining why they haven't released any "significant" players; in my cynical opinion. If they don't win at least two from wakey, Cas and then London I believe players will start to leave.

Not totally sure I get your point, it has to be won end of IMHO and if we don't have the metal to do it Bradford will finish above us and financial issues aside will stay in SL and we won't - of course it's a tough ask but that's my point

| On paper Bradford have a better squad than us but they never seem to really gel as a team and play to their potential.
In recent years I feel as though Bradford have had the Indian sign over us, we hardly ever beat them when form and squad available dictates we should do better.
We need to shake off this hoodo. Knowing our luck we'll surprise the so called "experts" by turning over Salford then get thumped by the Dulls.

| I think your on a hiding to nothing in this game at Salford and its interesting how the Red Devils have managed to get Wakey and then London (both favourites for relegation) in their first two fixtures.
One crumb of comfort though is looking back a few seasons ago all eyes were on newly promoted Widnes Vikings in the opening round. No one was talking about Wakey and you got a great win if I remember correctly. A big ask though this time IMO.

Why are we on a hiding to nothing ? We are favourites for the bottom 2 and not expected to win many by the so called experts. We will have to see what happens we like been underdogs lets see who we can drag in the mix. If you ask me it's the sides who think and their fans expecting to squeeze in the top 8 who are on a hiding to nothing.

It had crossed my mind had that. It wouldn't surprise me to see the next financial crisis hit Bradford after they confidently see themselves safe from relegation. Nobody can blame us for been cynical after watching how this game has been run especially in the SL era.
