Last time I answered yes to that question, I got violated by an off-duty nurse; for that reason, I'm out.

Would say so as far a forwards are concerned as he is more likely to cross the white wash more than any other forwards.

I wouldn't. Southern and Kirmond, both second rowers, are our captain and vice captain respectively. Add to the fact that both of them, and Lauitiiti, were awesome on Friday against Widnes. It looks to me like Mariano has a job on his hands even getting back in the 17. It shows how well we've recruited, as he was one of our better players last season.

Yeah, I think it was a toe injury. I reckon he will be forcing his way in soon, good player.

Think Southern will be having an extended run at prop in Amors absence so there is a spot available for another backrower. Marianocould well be that man.

That worries me as Southern, as good as he was at Widnes, isn't a prop. We struggled against their pack early on, and in my opinion we need to bring Wilkes and Johnson in to the front row to start this week as I'm sure Hull KR will take advantage of our lightweight front row and steam roll us.

Who says. You are not born to play any position. Steve is small for a prop but so was JT and Belly and they did just fine.

Being big is not what propping is all about - in most cases it makes you a big lump. It's all about attitude, ticker, quick PTB and being in the right place to do the job and he wants for none of those. Southern will do just fine in the short term, absolutely no worries there. Will this prop obsession ever end eusa_hand.gif

M.I.B. ??....nope - M.I.R.W.B !!! Sent from my steam-powered Sinclair ZX81.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_46136.jpg

We struggled against their pack early on because their pack set off at 100 miles an hour, and promptly ran out of steam after 60 minutes (it did help having Cross sin-binned too !!), but we played the full 80 and didn't run out of steam !!!

Why should we have to make do with Southern in the short term when we had 3 more than capable props on the bench?

I agree with that, but better teams than Widnes would have been out of reach at half time with all the posession they had. I don't think we'll be able to rely on that tatic every week or we could see ourselves having to play a lot of catch up in the last 20 minutes.
