Forgot about Brooker. Still recall that tackle he did on Broadbent and carried him into their in goal! Absolutely superb

| Here we go again with another thread that sees JD included in various line ups because he's been a great club man rather than being the best in the position he's chosen for!!!
Ellis & Domic would definitely take the centre spots with Ollie Elima in for JD, but moving to one of the second row with Poching moving to LF.
Not sure about JR at 6 or Drew at hooker. I'd be tempted to pick Newton at 9 (he does just sneak in with a noughties appearance - if qualification is based on making an SL appearance then I'd go for David March) and have BJ in for Rooney - although I'd have him at 7 and DB at 6.

Too true! I'd picked all my team and still had the No. 6 empty. He kind of got it by default

Elima and Newton? Surely we should be picking on performance for Wakey not for others?

Agreed, Elima has been superb for Catalan but as i recall it for Wakefield was never that special barring a couple of big hits or the odd game. I use to recall that at times he'd lose it and give several penalties away.
Newton surely cannot qualify after a meaningless friendly.

Do forgive me for not putting what you wanted me to put, In the time we have been in SL there is no playere i would rather have coming off the bench except maybe Poching but as he made it into my first 13 JD gets on the bench purely for the influence he has on the team, show me where in the rules it says that everyone has to be played in their best position, and whilst you look for those rules find me the one that says you are god and everyone should agree with you.

| Jd was rated in the top two centres in super league in 07 an top linebreaker in the league, and was a stand out in 04 from centre so i think its understandble he is pick in the centres.

Brooker
Think martyn holland deserves a mention - one of the safest pairs of hands in the league up until shortly before his departure. Brooker was good was well, but can't dislodge JD and Domic.
