Thus I will not be attending as I regard the facilities not up to standard .'"
And that is your perogative, just as its Siddal's to play the game at their ground. It's a big day for them, and I hope it's a brilliant day for the club and it's supporters (apart from the result, obviously).

What about last season (sorry to bring it up) but the East Stand was closed and I am sure the temporary seating had a lower capacity and was open to the elements. I wonder if some were unable to attend because they could not get a seat.

We live in 2024 pt if your disabled everywhere you go have to provide for you wakefield themselves had to provide a seated stand so folk could attend and sit whilst the stand was been built here its not the case so im sure there is some authority out there who would say the disabled are been dscriminated against here remember not all disabled people are in wheelchairs.thats the point im making

The clue there is that there was tempory seating i dont know if it was ever sold out my wife used it every home game but there was still an option at siddal there isnt other than take a camping chair and is that really an option.i think its noble of siddalto host they obviously want to host to give them a chance of winning but for me the rfl shouldnt allow it they should make all amutuer sides play away when playing pro sides unlessits somwhere like saddelworth who have a seated stand

I get your point, but there has to be a limit.
Many amateur sport venues don't have seating. Same as not everywhere that has a toilet has a disabled toilet.
I'd love it if everywhere catered for everyone, but some venues are not capable.

But, that's the difference isn't it???
It's your "local pub" with all the usual regs in place for such an establishment.
We are talking about a club - and with no offence - a maximum safety limit of fans (like your pub)

| Match Day!
Trinity are giving 68 start to Siddal on Bet365, the weather forecast is Dry and 8 degrees and according to Siddal the
game is a sell out.

I take your point, not a good analogy. We love the Challenge Cup and often go to the early rounds at amateur/community clubs but we’re not going to Siddal. At 5’11” I’ll struggle to see a lot of the action. At 5’6” Mrs KH will see zilch so,much as we’d love to be there, we’ve made the decision that it’s not worth the 200 mile round trip. Harsh as it sounds, disabled fans and people who’d struggle to stand for 2 hours have to make the same judgement call - does it make sense to attend? You’ve made the point that there are laws regarding disabled access but adjustments have to be reasonable and it’s arguable that it’s not reasonable for a small community club like Siddal to make suitable adjustments (though they may have done - I don't know).
It’s a poop situation. A lot of fans who would have gone will be unable to go for a variety of reasons but it’s the rules of the competition and Siddal have the right to play at home. It’s part of what makes the Challenge Cup special - the Magic of the Cup.

I tend to agree. We'll win (hopefully) but not by such a margin.

What about short, deaf fans who can't stand up for 80 minutes?

I have to say I think we'll hammer them.
No disrespect meant to Siddall but fitness will make a massive difference and we'll run away with it in second half.
