Thought I had read last week that 'Rodneys new trust' hadn't been registered.

So Colin wants to deal with SRW - well of course he chuffing does, the guy allowed him to build NC, circumvent the crap 106 that he oversaw and completely avoid his responsibilities. He wants to repeat the whol exceecise again and we wouldn't allow that - so up pops SRW again to 'save' the day!

I'm not sure why or how anyone accepts his involvement in this process and will be letting others know of my opinion on this!

So once again for the benefit of the new Cas fans.
If you come on our forum to discuss sensibly you'll be more than welcome.
If you come on to wind people up you'll be warned and banned from the Wakefield forum.

And though it may seem unfair I will always give the Wakefield supporter more time than a visitor.
Respect the house.

Do you really, really I mean?

My understanding is that there are so many financial charges secured against Wheldon Road that anything you might sell it for will immediately be swallowed up by the Bank, Fulton family and the breweries.

Because lots of people are like our lass, a salesman's dream.

And because they haven't been engaged enough for the last 8 years, if somebody had fannied me about for that long, I wouldn't give them the time of day, well, not even for that long but for some people a wave of a carrot makes them go weak at the knees, forget everything that hasn't happened, shove all the minor details like "the deal" under the carpet and buy in to Rods money tree, just so long as they build it.

As you know I and other Wakefield & District Community Trust Directors are of the same opinion as you Phil.

Its not coincidence that SRW forms his own Trust, although I cannot see that it has been registered with Companies House, and the Council are referring to the Trust's and both Trusts working together. There is only one Trust and that is the Trust that was set up specifically by Wakefield MDC to facilitate the delivery of the Community Stadium and is named in the S106 Agreememt and was referred to in the Public Inquiry.

The W&DCT has the best interests of the community and Wakefield Trinity at heart and wishes to see a stadium built that will allow the Club to prosper whilst making the stadium available for use by the wider community. I wonder if SRW's "new" Trust has the same aims.

let SRW get on with it - he is at least saying I am going to build it - he has 2 weeks to deliver and personally if he doesn't we are doomed - the old trust wasn't working it had 8 years to deliver and nothing - at least we are getting some positivity at the moment . I think not matter what thoug we are getting screwed and it will mean wakefield no longer having a super league team based there

He was Chairman of the Stadium Trust and didn't progress the stadium then. Only managing to get the biggest white eyesore of a fridge circumvent the 106 agreement. Existing trust every day of the week for me.

I agree with the existing trust if they could or have a plan to deliver- we have a month or so to decide our fate from what I see- SRW is saying that he will have heads of agreement singed next week- Now it maybe might not come to anything more than likely but its more than anything we have got in the last year so I say everyone just let him get on with it for now and see what comes off it - we have nothing lese at the moment t.

Depends what the terms are. If it cuts down our ability to run the stadium and keep match day profits ghen it has to be a no.

Just to be clear, whilst I am away in Barrow Andy a little removed from the day to day at the moment, my understanding was that we were getting a new 106, similar to Castlefords, not a HoT - which is about as useful as a fart in a space suit where Yorkcourt are concerned! Not sure when this changed!??

He had been saying he was going to build it for the last 7 years he chaired the W&DCT but not a brick laid. He was Chair when the S106 Agreement was drawn up and he even agreed to Newcold not contributing to the trigger point a fact that he withheld from the Trust Board which in effect has doomed that agreement. He told the Club not to bid on Belle Vue as Yorkcourt would buy it and the Club's involvement would only push up the price - well we all know how that ended.

You say that we are getting some positivity. Do you think that's because of SRW or maybe its the pressure that the W&DCT and the Media is applying since he walked out on the Trust established to deliver the Stadium.

The old trust wasn't working you say - no it was the Chairman who wasn't working but if you want to put your faith in the man who has failed then good luck to you.

You are right. Peter Box said in the Council Chamber that the Council had negotiated a "perfect" agreement for Castleford and he intended doing the same for Wakefield. He also said that the Council was in receipt of a draft agreement at that time but I suspect it was just some very basic terms.

We are supposed to be getting a new S106 Agreement with the old one being torn up and it looks like we will only receive a Heads of Terms by Friday if we are lucky but they will form the basis of the S106.

Lets see what Friday brings but the terms need to reflect the "perfect" agreement that Peter promised otherwise they will not be acceptable to this Trust and the Club.
