Would be very surprised if superleague went to 16 teams next year. More likely that the RFL would relegate two clubs with Widnes and a.n. other coming up.

On a side note I noticed that Wrexham F.C have had a transfer embargo imposed on them due to monies owed to the HMRC. Theres talk from some circles that adminstration could be a possibility for them. Are the crusaders not owned by the same parent company, Wrexham Village Ltd? Would this have an impact on them?

The ground will happen and with it coming off greenbelt next year. Us in our current predicument hopefully common sense prevails and they make a decision in a couple of months all been well . This will be our saving grace.

That two championship clubs could be on their way up with two going down. All rumours but ones that a few journalists have heard as well. One club announced tomorrow with the promise of another when the rest of the licences are announced. Either way the clubs that don't get the gig tomorrow all go into the hat with everyone else so they'll be more than one SL club worrying. And if its any other club other than Widnes thats announced tomorrow two down is guaranteed.

I can't seem to find the link but on BBC sport and sky sports news about 2 months ago Richard Lewis guaranteed super league clubs that only 1 team will drop. Not at any point as he stated otherwise so I think it's unnecessary worrying regarding two teams. It will simply be 1 up 1 down and I genuinely feel the RL little baby the crusaders won't survive much longer.

So you may get a chance to come back up sooner than anticipated

Amazing how the crusaders can afford to be still signing players. Their crowds are terrible and the RFL are reputedly taking 140K a season from their sky money to pay back the loan. How are they paying their way?

Maybe the RFL have similar concerns with regards to the Crusaders and this is why there are rumblings of 2 clubs gaining entry as they are leaving the door open just in case.

Im at the point where i really couldnt care less what League we play in. With the goings on over the last few months i am just happy we have a club to support. Part of me quite fancies going back to some honest rugby league. The only problem with that been, that once out, i cant see us getting back in, new ground or not!

It is pretty clear that 5 clubs are in line to be culled from Sl to make way for expansion into a wider framework.

In order for the drop are Wakefield, castleford, Hull KR, Huddersfield & Widnes and these clubs will be replaced by Dublin, Edinburgh, S Wales, Toulouse and Leicester.

Nonesense!! - if what you believe was true there would be no point in the RFL promoting Widnes this time around. Hull Kr, never at worse they would merge but the SL needs two strong hull teams, they travel wel!! as for hudds, i disagree simply speaking.
