Been looking at the site on Google Maps; interestingly it looks equal distance from Cas town centre and Wakey city centre.

Me too mate and it actually appears that if Cas were relocating to that site they wouldn't be moving as far as Wakey...and traffic-wise could get there a lot quicker. On a positive note it would take us both in the opposite direction from Fev

Talking to a Geography guy and he says it's more in Wakey than what our current ground is, any way I don't care it's in Wakefield and that is all that counts.

It is pretty equidistant from both places. 4.1miles from Wakefield town centre and 4.2 miles from Cas.

Well done swag and all involved finally we can move forward as a club and enjoy superlesgue without added burden.

'Newmarket Fields' is certainly close to Wakefield than the Keepmoat is!

I have a wf1 post code too and Belle Vue is two miles away from us, stanley is 4miles and is closer to the leeds/ cas boundary so I don't know how he can come up with that statement ?
