Blimey, doesn't matter how you view it that's a big signing for Fev and well done to them. If they can keep him under control and fit he will rampage in that league.
One thing that amused me though, he fell out with his last coach because he always blamed the players, in which case I'm not sure he's picked his new coach wisely

Seem to be putting a decent squad together now they've signed that Jesse wotsit from Cas as well, think they'll give Leigh a good run for their money this coming season.

| I have no reason to doubt what I’ve been told about him and there is a good reason why no NRL or SL club would touch him.
Wouldn’t want him anywhere near Trinity despite his ability.

So your now going to beat the club up because they didn’t sign a player with numerous issues that WP probably didn’t want anywhere near his team.
When are fans like you going to twig, the NRL does not let players go unless they are not good enough or in this case totally unmanageable.
In the last ten years hardly any of the SL imports direct from NRL clubs have been good enough to get a gig in the NRL.
This guy can’t even get one in SL.
Fev are a decent club but you don’t go from the NRL to the Championship unless you’ve nowhere else to go, or do you seriously think you do?

| Can’t see him mucking about at fev with big Brian in charge as seems to be a stickler for discipline. Interesting to see how he goes , and if half as good as he’s played in NRL bigger clubs will come sniffing I’m sure

It’s strange when we sign players with a chequered history you say he is just the type of player for us but when they sign elsewhere then they come with too much baggage. A lot depends on the coaches ability to control and get the best out of each player. I have seen him play in the NRL and most of his on field problems results from him rushing in to defend his brother.
I guess we will see who makes the greater impact a 19 year old who has been at several clubs in his short time in the game or an experienced NRL centre. I would remind you that so far WP has only been allowed to sign a project from London recovering from a long term injury and a young lad from Leeds. The rest were signed by Chester unfortunately WP has also lost 11 players from last years squad.

Micheal Maguire is a very similar disciplinarian to Brian Mac.
He didn’t want him anywhere near his club, neither did anyone else in the NRL or SL despite his talent.
The more successful clubs talk about culture. Getting the culture right.
The last thing Wakey need is issues within a culture that probably cost the last coach his job.
We need to build a culture which we seemed to lay the foundations during WP’s short reign.
I’m not going into details but from what I’ve been told, and I’ve no reason to doubt it, this bloke isn’t a nice guy or a guy you want around your club if you want a settled rota of players.
I love him as a player but there is more to it than that, and it’s no coincidence that in his prime with his talent nobody wanted to touch him with a barge pole.

That's very poor comparison. Congratulations on finding a negative regarding young Hall returning to Wakefield though but that's what you do best.
It's highly likely that any player within a Super League squad will have a greater impact in Super League than one in The Championship.

I don’t do that, you do. I generally go with the coaching staff. I do so for reasons that are so obvious if baffles me that you don’t seem to get it.
If signing players were down to me I might have gone for this lad, I don’t know enough about him other than his stats to do otherwise. To me he’s just a name and a Wikipedia page and a highlight video. They all make him look ace.
WP and staff I suspect have far more info at hand than we do which is why I trust them.
I suspect this lad won’t stay long at Fev and will eventually get a SL spot if he behaves, could be us for all I know.
If it did happen then I’d take an interest but I’m not bothered until it does. I’m far more interested in the players we have signed.
Potentially if Hall is another Atkins in the making then frankly he’s a far better signing, surely even you can see that?

Depends who you listen to, seems highly thought after, probably more so than Ryan who??? was when he joined us as makeweight with Brett Ferres.
That said I wouldn't bank on any player, especially a 19-year-old.
