What as kicking it off a tee to do with not dealing with the kick that St Helens scored from when French should have kicked it into row Z.

| What a shame the fans couldn't attend, both sets should be very proud. Quite often finals tend to disappoint but this one just kept me nailed to my chair, it was relentless in guts, effort, determination, and skill.
After the year we have all had it was the best game to finish the season off and a fantastic advertisment for a great game.
We all have players at certain clubs we dislike for what ever reason and that can sway the like or dislike of a club. I'm no fan of Hardaker at Wigan and LMs at saints but for this game at least things evened out.
All players at all clubs would love to play in a final and to play in such a game would be the wish of many. Just like the players fans also would love to support a club involved in these type of games. The aim of every club should be to achieve what Salford have over the last couple of seasons and then to go one step further.
I hope the grip of future composition s can be shaken up over the coming seasons.

Think you're doing a disservice to Bevan French there. The ball was falling with momentum from height. The 1st bounce is two metres away from him and the second bounce was probably more than one metre away. After that the bounce just favoured Welsby. Don't think French ever had chance to get a foot or hand on it.
Comparing that to the nothing rolling dolly that Grix actually lifted his foot away from is ridiculous.

| Best game of RL I’ve seen in a long, long time.
French switched off after the drop goal attempt just for a second. Long enough.

| Still on about Grix , that was just stupid what he did .Last night was just a lucky bounce of a ball , Most trys that are scored from a ball been kicked in the air closed to the line are luck , it's part of the game

| You could see at the end of the game that French felt responsibility for the try. In many ways it was a cruel end to the game.

| That was more like it. Reminded me of an NRL style game, never over until it’s over.
It’s good to see British teams developing that mentality.

To be fair I have seen it creating through in recent years. True you still get more one sided games than you should but they are less frequent.
Even though we had a poor season there were three games, one pre Covid v Hull and two post Covid against Wigan and?? That we nearly came back and won.
That extra 6 points would have made it a good season, so it’s getting tighter.
I remember the year Halifax went down they never won a game?? and rarely looked likely too. Where as HKR this year and London last year had some creditable performance and didn’t just make up the numbers.
Let’s hope we carry on that way.
Also blows the myth that there isn’t enough talent in the British game, well there is if your willing to give it a go.

| I don't know if anyone else noticed but after that final kick hit the post and came out, it then bounced back OVER the crossbar, now I assume that because it hit the floor first, it wouldn't have counted as a drop goal, but I have never seen that happen in over 40 years of watching the game

Halifax did win a game the year they went down. The reason why they ended up on zero points was due to a points deduction penalty.
Still, back to the subject, last night was a classic
