Yep it's a cautionary note, remember that Webster went unbeaten in his first 5 games in charge and we all know how that finished up. Chester has started extremely well but it is also correct to credit Smiths work as well, as he has put the foundations in place that can now be built on by Chester who can also add a sprinkle of local pride to the job. But i think some on social media are getting a little carried away already, yes enjoy the moment but remember we are still a work in progress and have a long way to go.

Not all of them, just some. He was a bit schoolmaster-esque with them and some didn't like it. He is an old school coach trying to coach modern players who had got into bad habits and some of whom had developed poor attitudes. It was a mis-match but it actually shook them out of their malaise and now Chester has come in and the mood has lifted, the shackles eased and the benefits are being felt. We need it to last this time though.

We definitely have a lot to be grateful to Brian for. Not least the recruitment side of things - he's brought some real classy players into the club. He kept us in SL and I wish him well.
