Agreed Burgess might have scored 3 times but he made errors too. It's about time the Owen bashing stopped. I was critical of the 3 year deal and his attitude but he has been far from the worst player in the team in the last 2 months. Riley has been shocking in defence and looks terrified every time a big winger runs at him

He's being unfair as regards Owens mistake and his game over all - as suggested it was a ver difficult kick.

However what was worrying about Owen and what is generally symptomatic of the team was how quickly Owens performance deteriorated from that point - it went from a general good effort from Owen to schoolboy at times - Owen was a passenger for the last 20. Sadly that's not just him but how the team has been all season 10 - 20 -30 minutes in the game then bang heads go down.
