They both look like tough calls to me, but the amount of defenders is irrelevant really, it only takes one arm, leg or whatever under a ball to stop it being grounded.

Lauitiiti as many rugby league fans know is a superb carrier of the ball and he has the strength and skills to switch ball carrying hands 1 on 1 I dont think any player could prevent him getting it down. |

As Richard Agar said, he has never known Ali not score when its 1 on 1, plus Ali told Agar after the game that he had grounded the ball. |

Such a shame Mike87 wasn't here this time last year... Anyway any player wouldn't be able to prevent big Ali from scoring 1 on 1. Luke Dorn found that out the hard way.

There is no definite way you can state that. Mullaney at 5 ft 8 and 12 1/2 stone smothering Lauitiiti at 6 ft 3 and 18 stone when in full throttle to the line? Unlikely but the match has been and gone.... Let's all move on and look forward.  |
