Yes he was offered a deal by us but it seems he chose Castleford over us.
He would have had to consider, game time and money from each of us as he wasn't really getting as much as he wanted at this club.
All the best to him just hope he plays rubbish when he plays us.

Ali has another year option on his contract I believe. I remember reading an interview earlier in the season that he said something along the lines of
''If I can stay injury free, play consistently and enjoy my rugby I'll think about doing the year on my contract but we'll have to wait and see how this season goes first and that's all Im concentrating on.''

Depends what wage and how often he would be playing. Would imagine he is one of our top earners and as a club who have limited finances, we may not be able to justify another year
