Think it is a good solid signing. such a versatile player, he will do a very good job for us next year.

Good signing. Great bench player. Can cover 1-5 and if not will just play as a middle runner from 13. Cant wait to hear the reception he gets on his return to Craven Park. A real fans favourite for his spirit and endeavour on the pitch.

Not a signing I wanted us to make, for well documented reasons.

Now that WTW have sent the message that as a club, they're prepared to forgive his misdemeanours, I sincerely hope he doesn't do further damage to our reputation by repeating his past behaviour.

I'm very happy with this signing! I know it's controversial, but off the top of my head I can think of a few good reasons why we should be happy with BC and see him as potentially a very effective part of our first 13:

1. Can anyone name a game they have seen BC play (against WT or anyone else) that he hasn't given 100% in?
2. He's a Wakefield lad. My old mans from Normy so it holds a special place in my heart!
3. We all deserve a second chance, anyone that says's they've never made a mistake in their private lives or at work is either an evangelist or lying.
4. From his interview he's here for the right reasons. i.e Wants to play RL and most importantly for RA and WTW.
5. If we were going to sign a player from the lower leagues I'd rather have him than Nashy!- And 12 months ago Fully was laughing we were scraping the bottom of the barrel!

Seen him rip us apart countless times, a really good player. Obviously his contract reflects his off field past problems, but he is just as good or even better than the players that have left this club in my opinion.

He will most likely play on wing.

Initially against this but there's no doubt the player has talent. Seems like a sensible contract and it's now up to him to prove his worth to us and try and earn a longer deal next time-if all works out!

When will this club learn, Latu, Johnson, and now this joker, it'll end in tears just like the rest.

He will, no worries on that score, he knows no other way to play.

Not a signing I wanted us to make as he always gave me the impression that he hated our club and it's fans. Another straw on the camels back for me.

Ben had way too many chances at Rovers and still managed to balls it up for himself. [iIf[/i being kicked out of the club he apparently loved has had a big enough effect on him then you've made a cracking signing. That's a huge "if" though.
