Were you watching last night Frankie? An epic game by two outstanding teams who gave their all, with your big city neighbours just shading it.
I feel your pain cup cake

| As much as I hate Leeds being successful, you can't take it away from them last night. Their tactics were perfect for beating Wire who have been outstanding in attack all season. Leeds' defence was excellent and rattled Warrington, not allowing them to get into their comfort zone. An excellent game, a breath of fresh air, where on balance Leeds deserved it (there I said it). As a neutral(-sh) RL fan, I hope the remaining 2 games are as entertaining.

| Leeds deserved it, but there was a big element of Wire choking in the play offs again. Too many of there major players froze last night whilst the Leeds lads that have been there and done it stood up to be counted. Can see them winning next week now.

| I know we don't have the Rhinos squad, but I hope we give Agar the time to rebuild and remember the Leeds season. If the fans had been listened to, McDermott would be unemployed now. If they start next year how they have finished this year, now that he has got things going his way, they could have a hell of a year (and if Gentle and the other fella at Kr do to their clubs what Maguire and Brown did at Wigan and Huddersfield, there could be a genuinely competitive top six).

Bradford will be getting nervous, because all the county's glory hunters will be swapping their shirts again.

| I thought that Brent Webb having his first decent game for two years made a big difference.

| I’ve never seen so many calls go against Leeds, yet they still managed to do the business.
Well done (in a grudging tone)

Too right, and we must remember with the complete change over in personell - hopefully inc 2 new overseas half-backs - we will take time to gel. I reckon we'll only just be warming up by June!

| I'm pleased rhinos have made gf. Since maguire there seems to be a perception that British coaches are way behind their Aussie counterparts. Maybe it's not that simplistic after all.

I suppose it comes down to wether a coach is deemed to be good if he can get a team to win consistently/more than other teams or just when it matters?
Peaking seems to be the way SL is going, both finalists were very hit and miss at the start of the season and are bang in form now.
Ask the rhinos fans who have been calling for macdermotts head all season if he's still crap or the best coach in the land, if they win GF.
Personally I think the rewards are the wrong way round, but that's my opinion and certainly not how SL seems to be developing.
All clubs and fans know the rules at the start of the season and it's up to each team to utilise it's squads and skills over the season to achieve the ultimate target of being crowned SL champions.
