| If we win this weekend (and I'll admit it's a big if) then we will be level on points with Hull, which considering the relative squads is no mean feat.
Feel for Bradford, up until now we've been able to empathise with them, having lurched from financial crisis to crisis for years. Now though, they are actually going down* and the club is in mayhem. We've not tasted the ultimate sanction for having a poor season for years!
*Barring a minor miracle

| My sympathy for Bradford is non existent due to some fans still in denial and can't accept they are no longer a 'big' club.
It's time for Wake to put the final few nails in the Bradford coffin and make it not our debate.

| Regarding Administration obviously points deduction is the procedure now but will it still be the same if any SL club goes into admin from next season. With the stupid middle 8 league would the point deduction be before the 3x8s split or after. If it's before then it's not much of a deterrent you'd still have a good chance of avoiding relegation by finishing top half of the middle 8.

Quote: Scarlet Pimpernell "This is getting somewhat silly Bradford are not our problem. I would think that if it is obvious that getting six points back won't save them the case will not proceed. This means that there will be little action for several weeks.
Let us stop this obsession with Bradford we are beginning to just appear sad and just concentrate on Wakefield.'"
Here we go again with the font of all wisdom. Maybe you should tell the coach not to be concerned about the points deduction for Bradford and it's implications for WTW recruitment? ..hence my suggestion one more win now should sort that anxiety with recruitment rather than have the saga continue.

| Surely if the bulls take it to the high court, they should be charged with bringing the game into disrepute?

Totally disagree this is how ithe laws operate in democratic countries. I don't think the High Court can give points back but it may have a view on the process. As I have read somewhere this really is very very very small matters for the High Court and they may not meddle in a sporting bodies affairs, we will see. Whatever the case Marc Green believes he has a case. The appeal panel didn't hear anything evidence wise as their opinion was he didn't meet the threshold required to lodge an appeal. Very interesting times coming up, as I said on another thread if it was our club many of the fans would expect the same route.

The club have been run atrociously but just cos a new owner wants to challenge a decision from the idiots that run Red Hall doesn't mean for one minute I am going to stand about and read the dross on this thread without venting my spleen first.
Relegation should be settled on the pitch, not the courts, but as a club we have no choice. At the end of the day you are still going to stay up as it stands even with the points reinstated so i don't know why so many are getting so rubbish.'"
If I'm reading that right, then you sir are a complete sucker

Absolutely bang on, the pitch is where promotion and relegation should be sorted.
Sadly though the Bulls (even without P and R being an issue) failed to act sensibly and now it's all come to a head.
As I've said before I feel sorry for the genuine Bulls fans, they have been treat disgustingly, but dealt with it must now be.
Some Bulls fans are less open to outside suggestion and that's why on the whole many other RL supporters are anti the "poor poor bulls" fans stance.

| Wakefield hold their own destiny in their own hands now. With no points or all the points returned to Bradford. It's wakeys to lose.
Bradfords Points difference makes the gap even bigger to breach.
In a 14 team league 16 points would historically keep any team outside the bottom 2.

| I don't know why Wakefield keep getting dragged into Bradford's slanging matches. Salford are nearer the relegation battle than us and if results go in our favour this weekend they are the ones who should be sweating.

The sad thing is there should be no slanging match.
Sadly though some Bulls fans don't like their treatment though by the RFL and keep banging on about it.
If those supporters had some class and an ounce of dignity there would be no need for anyone else to interject.

| A BULLS fan calling Wakey fans vile cretins is perhaps the biggest case of pot calling the kettle black I have seen for some time. Anyhow, like Avenger (i think) said a few days back, time to look up, not down. Let Bradford stew in relegation.
