So, to our knowledge...so far...he’s the only player in Super League, or the NRL who is having a problem wearing one? Does that not say anything to you?
It seems like we’ve gone from being stood down indefinitely to just the 14 days, so I’m wondering whether he hasn’t got the reaction he’d hoped and knows he’s in the wrong this time?

I'd say it's far more likely that someone has had a quiet word in the ear of the club and they realise that they are very likely to be in breech of contract law and would quickly find themselves without a player but with a big legal costs.
It also says to me that he finds that specific unit uncomfortable for a specific reason which might not be relevant to others. Perhaps he's had previous trauma in that specific area which makes wearing it uncomfortable, and is why he's quite reasonably asked the club to source a different one

Why did same individual sit back during 2011 and 2012, when the club was getting back into debt, and not do anything, bearing in mind he was on the board from the start of 2011?
If it was me I would be wanting to know why and trying to fix it, especially if I was putting money inat that time'"
You are pushing the hearsay too far Eastern. This isn't the place for throwing rumours around like this. Especially with no facts. It just comes across as trolling.

| He wants to be embarrassed of himself. Watching his team mates go out there giving it a dig while he’s sat at home. Some young players would give their right knacker to be his size and play for the badge when pride, absolute joke he is.

But you'd only say it because you want it to be so. There's no foundation to any of the negatives you are posting against the club.
I'm pretty sure there is nowhere in his contract that says the club has to play him.

Politics aside pop tart ,the team it’s fair to say are in a hole and this is exactly the time for our talisman to step up to the plate and lead us on the field ,but whatever the reasons he’s sat at home kicking his heals .Ive no interest in apportioning the blame to either side, all I want is our great team to take the field with the best squad we can and play to the best of their ability.

| Its pathetic to be honest, he's the biggest earner at the club, we are obviously doing it tough at the moment and for him to be stood down for 14 days over a device that is simply too big is a joke. What would we be saying if relegation was still on the table and our so called best forward wouldn't take the pitch over minor issue like this. He's certainly changed my view on him thats for sure.

I'd go further than that.
He's barely played for the second half of last season and most of this and to chuck his teddy out of the cot because he doesn't want to wear a tracker, that every other player is wearing is mickey poor.
Fifita is by some distance our best prop and possibly our most effective player and as a club, we need players like that on the field and leading the side.
What sort of message is being put out here ?? it absolutely stinks.

| How is this device too big? It sits in the pocket sewn in to the neck of the shirt doesn’t it? You can barely see the thing through the fabric

Fair enough then. I take that back. He clearly just has an issue with GPS, as he has refused to wear it in the past, and won't do it even if compulsory. As Pop Tart has said, it's for the good of the game and it's for him to take one for the team, "the team" being the whole of rugby league.

| The big fella needs to take a good look at himself and bloody quick. I dont see him pulling a Trinity shirt on again but would be more than happy for him to show up in a couple of weeks time. Not seen the best of him for q while now and any mature professional would buckle under . go out and show his worth . I did ask the question if he was still on the pay role and if not can we still hold his contract. I know hes been stood down by the club but hes refusing to conform to regs.
Think the best the club can hope for is a fee with a player exchange.
