Anyways, seeing as we're linked to them, would you be nice enough to give me the the pros and cons for both Wildie and Amor. Like I said haven't seen enough of them to judge them myself.

Tell that to Wigan, who looked at him and rejected him due to his off field antics. Personally I wouldn't want him but clearly if you can keep him in check he is a great player.

Seriously though, Isn't Wildie out on loan somewhere? Gentle must see something in him for us to be linked, but why isn't he getting a look in for you? Smiths done alright for you but you've since brought in Sykes to play in the halves.

Or you could say,Ellis,whos best days are arguably behind him,is now homesick and looking for a bumper final lump into his pension.Chase,a player of undoubted talent,but one with serious discipline problems(which even caused to him to forget what nationality he is),offloaded for a fee ala Joe Westerman.Holdsworth who is an average player not one that instantly springs to mind as been part of a Dream Duo.Arundel .....England Knights..........yes,so was John Walker.

Amor is quality. In his two seasons with us has come on leaps and bounds. Hard yards and a good frontman.

Wildie, I see as more of a hooker. But Aiton, ellis and wood have made the spot their own.

Wildie is a tough lad, although lacked some level of skill and passing ability unless he has improved that whilst on loan. We have better than wild coming through but he is by no means a bad signing. Needs a run in SL to show what he can do but we are strong in that dept so chances limited for him this season.

I hope Amor remains a wakey player. I still think that could happen too but we'll see.

Trojan Horse, I've expressed on here my view on Wildie and it would be a great shame to see him leave. He is very fast (as clearly demonstrated at Hull KR last year) and he has a lot of talent either at hooker or half back. I agree he needs a regular run, maybe a year or two at Super League level to continue his development. I'd love him to stay at Wakefield where I think he could turn into a "local lad" hero in the future. Currently there are players competing/holding their own at half back and hooker. Too many players after one spot on the team sheet.

Really hope we keep Wildie.

The mrs was talking to someone in the bar pre game ,who seemed to be very up on the comings & goings at Hull . She mentioned Amor & he flat out said that he wasn't going to Hull .
Hope this is correct & good news for us !
