however better things for my sons 10s winning by around 34 at west leeds
the sprouts got hammered at heworth but continue to improve.

this mornings u12s league game finished cas panthers 28 east leeds 22.

i think its fair to say both teams struggled in the heat but still put on a good game for the speccies,we finished the game strong again to come from behind to win with the winning score coming 5 minutes from time and then havuing to withstand some late pressure.

a lot better than they are given credit for E Leeds 12s

their are no weak teams in group 1 and east leeds will win their share of games,they have 3 out standing runners of the ball with the 1,6,13 all very good players.

Myton Warriors 0 Crigg All Blacks 52 with Crigg by all accounts from the report im getting back not playing at their best . but at times you can only play whats in from of you. Myton by all accounts are mid top div1 table side that are supposedly considering joining YJL in the summer so there may be more trips to the east coast.

Kids have enjoyed arriving on a team coach and are really enjoying the experience but a home tie next round would be lovely .

well just back from the lock lane vs east hull game with it finishing 12-18 to east hull who are a very physical side,the east hull loose forward is a huge unit the biggest ive seen at u12s probably not far off been 6ft tall and he knows how to play too both in defence and attack.

Stanley 10s put in a brave peformance after being shifted up a group against stanningly whos smallest player must of been as big as our tallest . Stanley going down 22-10.

First game ive got to see in 4 as i get the 12s and the missus as a big role to play in the 10s so as be with sprout . Got treated to a try , a goal and he also got voted opponents player of the match by stanningley players so a very proud daddy as always.

the Rangers 10s are doing great but are probably a couple short on numbers so if your looking for a good club with a great reputation , i can vouch that both my lads (even tough my eldest as now joined his school mates) have always had good fun and good ethical training at rangers and with a new coaches joining the present coach the set up in the 10s is awesome . the rangers train on Tuesdays and Thursdays at ferry lane from 6pm and will soon be moving to indoor training probably kettlethorpe high or thorns football arena.
