| That's me done with Rugby League, the organisation running it is beyond a joke. Ias I've already got my season ticket I'm going to go to the Wakey home games I've paid for but that's it. I can't be bothered following a sport who's management seem to insist on destroying it at every opportunity

Nobody can argue that The RFL have made a right royal mess of The Bulls situation, right from the failed loan and taking over the lease at Odsal all those years ago but, I dont get why you are "done" with the game on the back of this and exactly where The RFL are destroying the game "at every opportunity".
There is no doubt that they should have been relegated but, so close to the start of the new season made that option impossible, as no Championship 1 club would have been able to sufficiently bolster their squad in order to compete in the 2017 season.
Of course, they have now set some precedents about protecting clubs entering liquidation and the next time it happens (although we all hope there isnt a next time), it will be interesting to see which rules are bent/ broken to protect any new club.

| I dissagree, Toronto have stated publicly that they not only feel ready but had contacted the RFL to say they'd step in.
I think their squad is strong enough to hold its own now but no doubt they'd have strengthened during the season as well.

The whole Bradford favouritism was the straw which broke the camel's back. In the last 12 months we've had the disgrace with the MRP, the joke with the England training camp, and the farce of the whole Bradford situation. They've not shown themselves in the brightest of lights and this has killed off my interest in the game both locally and internationally.

| Well they've pretty much set up the new club to fail. All because of their own interest in having Odsal rented out.

True, but there's also an outside chance that a new debt free club could overspend again and make it to the top 4 where they get promoted to SL. It's beyond a joke what they've done and has completely soured RL for me

| So, hypethetically Trinity could win the cup and have a tremendous league campaign and you would desert them because of the perceived RL competence . You would be harming your own club. Don't get it .

| Part understand Bentleberry.
I love Wakefield Trinity it is in my blood.
I love the sport I have bedn involved with it for 35 years
I can't stand the professional sports governing body as on and off the field it is being run into the ground.
Should the worst scenario ever happen and Trinity ceased to be, I would never watch a professional team.
I would though make sure I watch an amateur club within the Wakefield area

Indeed, I work hard to have the disposable income needed to be able to follow a live sport. I can't see myself putting that hard earned money into a system which appears almost completely broken and unfit for purpose. If that hurts the club then so be it, it pains me to have fallen out of love with a sport I've followed and played for most of my life but the RFL has brought it on. I'm not the first RL fan to walk away from the game due to their abysmal management and I'm certain I won't be the last.

| I don't really understand the animosity towards the RFL. The are far from perfect but walking away won't help.
But in reality, for me, I pay my money to Wakefield Trinity not the RFL. I pay Wakefield to entertain me, at whatever level that is, and I in return turn up each year with continued support.
I've had a couple of years where other things took priority, like babies but I'm always a Wakefield Trinity supporter.
The RFL won't change that.
