| Something a bit similar to what we did a few years ago, depending on sponsorship contracts currently. & It'll be a hard slog more than likely.
Get between 200 and 300 businesses to stump up £1,000 each for the chance to be;
Top Prize - Stadium Sponsor
2nd Prize - Back of Shirt Sponsor
3rd Prize - North Stand Sponsor
4th Prize - East Stand Sponsor
5th Prize - West Stand Sponsor
6th Prize - South Stand Sponsor
7th Prize - 1 x Matchday Sponsor
8th Prize - 1 x Match Ball Sponsor
16 x home games a season with 18 businesses logo's or write up featured per game plus tannoy announcements promoting before the game.
Every firm gets something out of it, the club gets nearer the target revenue needed, and the carrot at the end of the stick is the chance for the main sponsorship places for the 2014 season.

| I find it very difficult financially to support the club anymore than I do now due to a number of other personal commitments but I'd support the club through my purchase of items at home through Amazon, Ebay etc through set ups like below. If this was done across the board by all Trinity fans it may help and raise a few thousand especially with Christmas coming up? Barrow Raiders RLFC are already registered and we've got alot more fans than them..(up to 5000 to their 900) and.they've raised £3000 so far!
From their website.....
How it works
easyfundraising.org.uk helps charities, schools, sports clubs, community groups, and other good causes to raise money when their supporters shop online. So far we've raised over £5 million for causes throughout the UK.
It works in a similar way to many other loyalty shopping sites, but instead of earning points when you shop, you raise a donation for your cause instead. It's as simple as that!
You can shop with over 2,000 well known stores and each will donate up to 15% of what you spend. For example, John Lewis will donate 1%, Amazon 1.5%, The Body Shop 6%, some insurance retailers will even donate up to £30 simply for taking out a policy with them!
It doesn't cost you a penny more
The great thing is it won't cost you any more, plus we've got lots of voucher codes and special discounts so you can actually save money while you help your good cause. There is no cost for the good cause either – our service is totally free.
How to generate donations
It's very simple - once you've registered with us, simply shop with one of our retailers, our system then makes a note of your purchase, you generate cashback from the retailer, and we then pass this donation on your behalf to your chosen cause. That's it! No hassle for you, we do all the hard work while you shop as you normally would.
Get started
It's really easy to get started (we don't call it easyfundraising for nothing!)
If you would like to support a cause:
Support a Cause
Click on ‘Find a cause’ and select the cause you wish to support.
Fill out the quick form to register your details.
Find the retailer you want to shop with.
Click to visit the retailer, then shop as you normally would.
Your donation will be shown in your easyfundraising account within 30 days.
If you would like to register a cause:
Register a Cause
Fill out the cause registration form including contact details and where we can send the money you raise!
We'll need to do a few important checks at our end to make sure your cause is genuine (sorry but we have to ask!).
As soon as we're happy you can start raising funds through your own shopping plus we’ll give you all the tools you need to let your potential supporters know about us.
We send cheques out each quarter so once you've raised £15 or more, we'll send your first cheque! If you don't quite raise £15, it's rolled over to the next month. You can also choose to be paid via JustGiving, if you have an account with them.
In the media
We're the UK's largest charity shopping site and proud of it! Take a look at what people have been saying about us:
“Charity and retail partnerships mean you can give to good causes as well as your relatives this Christmas.”
“Users can donate to charities, scout groups, theatre groups, rotary clubs, or to sponsored individuals.”
“You can make a difference buying online by purchasing through easyfundraising.org.uk.”

We're very social

| Probably too late now but classic looking shirts are always the best sellers, design a shirt that looks like one of your historical favourites.
Even print a few replicas from yesteryear and sell them in the shop.

| Not sure if something similar has been mentioned earlier?.....but here goes....
How about a tag rugby tournament and all round family day?
Get as many local clubs as possible to get a team entered, maybe even have an entry cost per team?..... make a full day of it......get friends, family etc....etc....to get down to the ground.....maybe even charge a small amount to get in.....entertainment for the kids.....drink....food....etc.......maybe even get a few of the first team to enter a side up from the club and the team that gets through and wins the tournament gets to play them in a 'bonus' game......
A chance for all the local rugby community to support the club for a day?

| The foxy bingo seems like the best way to tap into the casual support. Decent income for the club for minimal outlay in difficult times. It's how you get the numbers to sign up. Slightly uncomfortable with actively promoting gambling, but...
FREE MONEY.
Set up a computer in the shop where the public can sign up, with help if required. Give anyone signing up a £10 voucher for the shop. For £10 they get the£30 on the bingo a £10 voucher for the shop and the club get £50. Move some stock in the shop. Advertise in the express, on the net and at the shop. Win win win.

| I think the problem with that is the IP address going to Foxy will be from the club and they would soon clamp down. Might be better to try and get 4 friends/family/work colleagues of each core member/season ticket holder to sign up. 4 x 2500 x £50 = £500000. Even if the club had to reimburse the sign up fee of £10 we would still be £400000 better off. Sound familiar?

| This forum seems to be very popular not only with Trin supporters (sorry, I'm old school) but also with a large number of guests. Could the club set up it's own forum which would be free to season ticket holders but could charge the 'guests' to gain access. 143 guests online after midnight suggests lots of interest in the club so why not charge them for the privilege? Could we put the full match online and not just the highlights or are we restricted by Sky? How many would have got home after the Cas match and happily paid £1/2/3 to watch again?

| I know this has already been touched on before but we need a new sponsor for the East Stand.
Can we sell/raffle that off ASAP for quick cash (the name not the actual stand!)
Also, is the Chav Corner stand named/sponsored?

Burburry, Nike or G-Star would be a good option.

I wouldn't pay to post on a forum, and as I work irregular shifts, a season ticket isn't worth it to me.
A package where you pay so much a season for a DVD after every match + programme would work, as has been mentioned before on here.
As an aside, where do the unsold programmes go?

Surely Lonsdale or Golddiagga would be better choices.

Building on that, have a scheme where full match videos, exclusive interviews, press conferences, new signing presentations e-programs and radio commentary for games not broadcast on Radio Leeds (for people who cannot make it to games) can be accessed on line for an annual fee of say £50 a year (It could even be broke down to a fiver a month with 2 months free).
It may be a large initial outlay to get such a system set up and running but with the way entertainment is going people want instant access to material with little effort getting it. Getting 2000 or so supporters to sign up to this would bring in a further £100k a season. DVD’s of the games could still be posted out to subscribers along with a signed photo of the man of the match from that game.
