One player under performing or not good enough (whichever you choose), as he has been for the last 3 coaches he has worked with, in a squad of 25 players that all happen to be going well and it's the coaches fault?

I've never understood the criticism Miller was on the receiving end of. One of the best half backs we've had in recent times.
Whilst I agreed about Lino potentially being a being a decent 9, that was when we were working to a much smaller budget. With Ellis in charge I'd much rather us sign a recognised hooker than trying to re-train someone already in his 30s. |

There’s no blame to take. In the championship Lino is one of the best halfbacks and will be good at this level. The discussion is more about 2025 and superleague. There’s nobody to blame, Lino tries his best and is perfectly fine at this level.

All I read there is that Lino is capable but others aren't able to keep up.
If it sometimes works then it works.
It's pretty clear to see the effect of not having him in the team. |

Corey Hall had a pretty good game for Cas also in right centre. Could form a good partnership with a try scorer like Walmsley outside him. |

And we don't need a take the line on guy. He ran to the line and put passes out long and short.
Lolohia and Connor did a lot of the kicking.deep
And he tackled everything they threw at him.
I think he'll be great with Trueman.
But I guess we'll have to wait and see.

POPTART ,you talk a lot of sense but to me when a team is struggling in S L it is down to injury or lack of creativity in the spine . As said Russell does not seem to create any thing .Truman was great but he as had a bad injury so I will keep quite till I see him play Main problem is 9 the lack of creativity there is shocking |

In terms of 9, I think Doyle is ready to make the step up to SL providing we get there and I think Harvey Smith will make a very good 9 but is probably a couple of years away from being ready to play week in week out. I like Hood but I am not sure he could cut it a SL level anymore so I do think a good 9 is an area we will target. I have heard Parcell mention which I would be happy with. |
