About 10 years with community use, almost forever if it was just Trinity.

Generally all plastic. You can get hybrid pitches that are part grass but I don’t believe that’s what we are getting.

The latest 3G/4G pitches are supposed to be spot on but as I haven’t played on any pitch for 20 years I couldn’t vouch for that.

I’ve enquired about the date for the hearing of our application. This is the reply I received today

RE: 20/02587/FUL. Redevelopment of Existing Stadium.

Dear Mr
We have not been made aware of the above application going before the Committee at this stage. If/when the matter goes to Committee an agenda and report will be published at least five working days before the Committee meeting. Meeting details, agendas, reports and Minutes can be found online at mg.wakefield.gov.uk/ieListMeetin ... 308&Year=0

Meetings of the Planning and Highways Committee are open to the public. Whilst meetings are currently unable to be held in a physical room the meetings are available to watch / listen to online. Meetings are made available through the Councils online Citizen webpage (citizen.wakefield.gov.uk/cabinet ... l-meeting/) or on the Council's YouTube channel. The feeds go live shortly before the meetings start.

Meetings of the Committee are currently scheduled for 21 January; 11 February; 18 March and 15 April. Further meeting dates will be confirmed in due course.

Kind regards

Andrew Taylor

Is this the application that the Trinity club wants the fans to support. Should we wait for confirmation from the club, or just get on with it now?

Is Newmarket connected to the success of our stadium development?
Until someone in the know tells me, I'm only supporting our stadium.

I think your right to do so. I’ve heard nothing from the club to suggest we do. Maybe that can’t openly endorse Newmarket in the same way they can BV, so it needs to be nods and winks.

I will however e-Mail the club and ask what if anything is required or someone else can. It’s normally MC who replies and usually within the day.

We often get asked how supporters can help the Club more than you do already. There are some very straightforward things you can do:
Part of Johm Minards statement on Trinity tv 24th December. I Also think we should wait for confirmation from the club

• Support our planning application when it becomes public in the coming weeks. That also goes for the “enabling development” at Newmarket. We need that to happen too.

Just received word.

Hold fire, for now, nothing to worry about but we don't want to overplay our hand just yet.

Things will become clearer in the next few weeks.

That's all I can say. It's up to you if you don't want to accept what I've put as I can't share the e-mail with you but I think most of you know I'd never do anything to damage the club.

The NM application is the funding. Its gunna rely on a hell of a lot of trust which just isn't there anymore. There is every chance we could be shafted again, but the planning at NM will go through with or without the support from fans, as the last one did after all the objections.
