| I think Kirmond plays on the right and Ashurst normally on the left. Tupou I'm not quite sure but unless it's a problem to him, I'd have him running in the whole Ashurst normally hits.
It's clearly a go to attacking option so whoever covers needs to be on their running game.
I'm feeling cautiously optimistic but I'll feel better if BJB is out there and Simon and Anderson are fit and ready to spill blood.

| I go to the final every year but I'm hanging back purchasing our specific seating position until I know if we're there or not.

| It has already been said that he is out for the season, so it would seem strange
I recall when I broke mine, I did it in the April, and had it wired for 6 weeks, so couldn't eat solids.
Its one of those frustrating ones, because with you not eating solids, I felt weaker, and took time to reach full fitness

| J Child reserve referee, let's hope nothing happens to Hewer in the build up to this game!

Child as reserve, should keep him away from any important decisions.

| Quote: Prince Buster "No problem with Gareth Hewer, think he is one of the better refs. He did the last round for us against shudds.
Childs,Cobb and Hicks are the ones I dislike.'"
In full agreement with you on both points.

| Also wondering if Chester will ask a favour of John Kear and see if he could give one of his famous Churchillian speeches to the players shortly before the game.Think the circumstances would be ideal for a bit of his special motivation.

Problem last time was that one of the wingers had gone to the bog and missed the speech.

He was bad but you also have to wonder about Brough's goal kicking - you'd swear he'd been got to by the bookies

Was discussing this game the other day with a bloke who had just watched it on CD. He said Silverwood was the biggest influence on the result.

I dont recall thinking that at the time.
We just got off to an awful start (mainly down to Peterson's inability to deal with the high kick's).
If the game had been 10 minutes longer, we'd probably have won and we were comfortably the best team for most of the game.
Let's just hope that we can compete on Saturday and that none of our players get stage fright !
