Tony Kemp anyone? Thought he was an assistant for some top coach in NRL.

Of course were in a rut at the moment it happens, Agar coached us to over a 50% win rate last season, that's the first time since 2009 we achieved that and only the 3rd time since we've been in SL. People need to get real in their assessment of our their expectations. With our budget anything around 50% win rate is excellent. To call for Agars head at this stage of the season is crazy, the ability is there in team, it just seems a few players have dropped out of form at the same time along with other carrying injuries. I'm sure Agar knows what needs to be done. Lets get this killer of a game over with this weekend and see how we go against Salford and London.
Fans do really over react, I think last year fans thought we was going to progress higher then 8th, in reality that will never happen unless we have a bigger investment into the team. I can't see that happening anytime before Newmarket.'"

| Losing RA now would achieve nothing.
He's doing his best with the players he has. How many times have we seen it before when a coach is sacked and replaced - more failure. Let RA get it right.
Unless of course we buy a whole new team of quality players and then I think I could coach them!

Luck does play part though like injuries we only really got aitons and mellers which in my view ment lee smith and ellis played of who to me where bettet options in those postions anywsy(aiton is good player though but think ellis is better hooker).the thing bout agar is that he is payed to improve what hes got and he hasnt you only look at our defence to see he hasnt has its alwsys been bad.i didnt expect us to finish higher than 8th in fact would be happy to finish 9th but i truly believe the only thing that will stop us been bottom is london.

I think the issue is if we gave Agar the push who would we replace him with? Whilst i wouldn't be too fussed if RA left i'm not sure there is any outstanding candidate out there that is both available and affordable. And because of that Agar is probably the best option for now. He does though need to sort out the recurring issues we have, particularly in defence otherwise the call for his head will start to grow.

Improvements:
Ben Cockayne is playing the best rugby of his life and is in the England squad.
Washbrook is topping the charts on defense, where he has not before
Andy Raleigh is in my opinion playing better than he was at Huddersfield
Collis is better this year than last, though was always good
Kirmond has shown improvemnt since coming here and has benefitted from the decision to make him Captain
Our Kick return tactics is pretty much regarded as second only to Leeds (as a whole back three rather than single individual)
We are not perfect at handling high balls but we are not as bad as we were last year with Bradford and London killing us in that area.
From being regarded as very light in the front row our 'light' forwards of Wilkes, Raleigh, Amor have handled life in SL together very well. Agar specifically said he felt we were light weight but would have to change tactics and sub management to make it work when he arrived. Obviously Poore helped.
If you add to that Tim Smith, who was supposed to be a risk when he arrived but has shown world class skill at times. He obviously had it before but other coaches have struggled to get it out of him in recent years so Agar deserves some credit there too.
His late additions to the team have all worked for me
Sykes, Lee Smith, Poore, Taulai all look like good acquisitions to me.
So you can always jump on the negatives as many do but there are plenty of positives in Agar's tenure so far

| We went on a 7 game win streak with a very finely balanced team. Ellis interchange with Wood. Paul Aiton interchange with Ellis would have been fine. Mariano interchange with Ali. This season we persist with Mellars and Lynn and jumble things up. Ok we have had some injuries I accept that. Lynn and Molloy been very poor signings. For me we should of persisted getting Lee Smith at centre this season. Cowling to come through as back up.

You are talking about points that were good last year, people myself included are really disappointed that we have not kicked off from that and maintained a decent standard of rugby. Our forwards are now getting dominated,
and our defence is abysmal which is a really bad combination. Agar has done great things for the club as last season speaks for itself, but this year so far for me has been a massive let down, as its always been the same with Wakefield, we have not in along time been able to have back to back successful seasons.

| I havent seen enough of Molloy in my opinion, he obviously isn't match fit so Im willing for him to have a chance but we'll wait and see.

Cocakayne yes up to last week playing well but no better than last year
Washbrook offers very little othervthan his defence
Raleigh not a patch on last season
Collis yes consistsnt performer but cos last season he wasnt really injury free
Kirmond i wouldnt say he playing better than last season
Our defence has not got any better at all in last 18 months so wheres the improvment there
You say our kick return is second only to leeds well what bout defending attacking kicks just like when we played cas in friendly last season we conceded at least three tries from kicks as that improved No
We will come end of season have less points and lower in league by fair few places wheres the improvment in that

| the day fans don't have issues to pick up on will be the season our team wins every match.
I say it in any sport, ballackings should be left for when you win - they resonate better than once you've lost

We are not comparing to last season though, we are comparing to before Agar, and they have improved there (imho)

But that is my point.
We are having a dip in form yes, and I am not happy about that either, but my post was in reply to one saying Agar was at fault and listed all the things he has not done well, in that person's opinion. I just wanted to show it is not all negative and that is why I back Agar rather than join the negative posts against him.
