| I'd have this for the 17 against Cas
Mathers
Tony
Collis
Mellars
Cockayne
John
Smith
Wilkes
Aiton
Raleigh
Kirmond
Lauitiiti
Washbrook
Ellis
Amor
Johnson
Mariano
If Collis isn't fit then move Kirmond to the centres with Mariano starting and Trout/Walshaw on the bench.

| Think I realised why John never takes the line on ? Because he is slow as a snail. Did you see him running back after there centre. Was embarrassing .

| This one had better turn out to be the proverbial 'bad day at the office' - no disrespect to London, but they're rubbish and after technically beating Wire and definitely Catalans, we conspired to make them look half decent; they beat us with a variant of the old Kear model of 5 drives and a kick, except they added the extra spice of making the kick 'good,' which JK never quite mastered.
If we get that type of performance against Cas, a lot of the goodwill that's been building around the City for the Glover version of Trinity, will be eroded; a gutless, lacklustre performance against our fiercest local rivals will effectively snuff out the embers of interest that have started to ignite amongst many people who have stayed away for years.

| I seem to remember some discussion about the players going down the night before last year, and people were saying that it can have a negative effect, because players just sit around bored and waiting for the game. Maybe that is something to reconsider.
As for Agar, I'm happy to give him the benefit of the doubt. For most of the year, he has had the team performing with vigour and enterprise. It wasn't Agar who didn't jump for a ball. It wasn't Agar who didn't go to the screen for the first try (I'm not convinced the catcher wasn't taken out). It wasn't Agar who kicked it out on the full. It wasn't Agar in a referee's jersey having an ego trip. It wasn't Agar who spilled the ball the first time we got down their end. The gelling thing is a non-starter now, but it was just one of those games.
We have attracted some decent players. If we end up out of the eight by mid-July and end up in twelfth, then yes, there is no progression,. We need to beat Cas and Salford though. If we don't, then maybe my patience will have run out.

| Well there was rumours last week coming out of the unwashed area of the Wakefield borough that our players were not getting paid. If they are then they should hand it back because they don't deserve anything after that effort.

If players are not getting paid how have we signed Sykes? some cas fans clearly don't understand logic

Well said bazzo - the rumour originated from a Cas shareholder on their other, more eccentric forum; he posts under the name 'Gloria' but lots of people refer to him as 'Robbo.'
If I were Mr Glover, I might be tempted to give Mr Fulton a call and ask him to intercede.

| I look forward to the day when we stop being the team that struggling/losing/poor teams can get back on track against.

Aye they've been paid alright, its just win bonuses that are lacking.

| I was at a wedding and watched the match on SKY. A few observations from a concerned supporter.
1. Southern seems to have what resembles a beer belly for a 2012 Super League full time professional it is unacceptable. He is not on the pitch enough and although can tackle seems to do little else. When you're team is playing POOR like they did last night then its the captain and other experienced players that should come to the fore but Southern wasn't even on the pitch if he was then he hid.
2. Aiton does not run from dummy half anywhere near enough and thats how London got a roll on sometimes from dummy half runs. When aiton did run from dummy half he created gaps. We're also not turning players onto their back enough to slow the play the ball down.
3. As for defending kicks Fox was isolated under the high ball and appeared to be weak in that area with a standing jump. There should be the centres/second row blocking runners and giving the wingers protection. Cockayne dropped a high ball for a try aswell.
4. We also seemed to play with absolutely no structure/composure and played worse in the second half than the first. Going sideways and then throwing the ball into touch or an aimless kick with no runners or kicking the ball out on the full or knocking on in a hurried play (thought off the top of the head seconds before).
This is very concerning, what did R.A. say at half time? And if they didn't listen to the game plan then he should have used his remaining interchanges just to make a point to those key pivots calling the shots for WTW and taken them off. They were worse in the second half.
5. If there is little or no improvement against Cas then there must be some changes around the ruck area and subject to injuries this must include consideration of Andy Ellis at hooker with Aiton to loose forward, give Trout, Walshaw and James a run and Washbrook on the bench.

| Just as some people were getting carried away after the Wire and Catalans games, some people are over-reacting after one shocking performance last night. If we have 3 or 4 in a row i'll start to worry but it's too early for doom and glooming just yet
