| If we are talking Aussies and a realistic option (Maybe) there's not a better option out there outside of Shane Flanagan IMO, the only reason he`s not a head coach in the NRL is down to his ban, I`m not even sure he has a gig anywhere at the moment? Took Cronulla from bottom of the table to premiership winners and already has experience of been over here with Cas. Has always been around the best coaches and turned into one of the best himself.

| The walker brothers seem to get highly praised down under. Both have played in SL and Ben will know Willie from his time at leeds if I’m not mistaken. They can’t seem to get a crack at first grade over there so wonder if they’d try there hand over here first? Obviously bringing both there wouldn’t be the need to replace last either

Got a nice, cosy gig co-commentating on Fox League. Coming to Wakey might be a tough ask compared to his current job. But I agree.

| Is it likely any Aussies are going to want to take the plunge to come over here in such times? COVID is massive over there with the lockdown, some fear they’ll be locked down until next year. Who knows, maybe they’ll see it as an escape route!!
The name Anthony Seibold came to mind when thinking of Aussies, someone who’s no doubt going want to revitalise his coaching career. I’m sure there are better coaches available though!
Despite being from Wakefield, I really don’t see big fat mac taking over. Never really seemed to like us and the Wigan pie will probably still be bitter about the 62-0 drubbing we gave him a few years back.
I reckon it’ll be someone over here who takes the job. Would like it to be announced soon, so they can get to work straight away and prepare properly for next year.

As per your last sentence, they might see it as freedom!
I don't think Covid is massive over there, compared to how it was here. They just hoped to seal the borders and sit it out and it hasn't quite worked. As I understand it though, compared to other countries Covid is no big deal. It is just their reaction to it that is a big deal.

Sorry yes, I didn’t mean COVID cases. More their reactions and lockdown

Seibold is the Aussie Chester, Broncos looked thrown together week after week, I wouldn`t go anywhere near him.
And first Big fat Gill Dudson, now big fat mac? Your one to talk, have you given up on the diet Trinity18? Last update you gave us you were 24 stone.

Quote from him earlier this year. It doesn’t fill you with hope that he’d want to come to a bottom end superleague club that’s for sure.

“But there’s no NRL coaching jobs available. I could go to the UK, but I don’t want to do that. I’ll do some radio and watch (son) Kyle play. We’ll see what happens.[/i

| Danny Ward seems an obvious fit. Leon Pryce did well at Swinton by all accounts. Can't see an Aussie wanting it.

You’re so strange. 4 posts about rugby and the fifth is always having a dig at someone, recently you’ve had an issue with the moderator and now me. Grow up.

| With Wayne odds on for the vacant Wigan job at the end of the season it’s ward or McDermott for me as uk based coaches , But there is a plethora of Aussie coaches waiting in the wings to be given a chance ,but obviously money may be a stumbling block.Pretty sure plenty of coaches known and Not so known to us will put their hat into the ring for a chance to coach super league club.

What issue have I had with a moderator? Lol, how many times have you been banned from here? Slowly but surely slipping into old habits with your fat jibes.
