I can only hope that the appointment of ‘Psycho’ brings a shot-in-the-arm to our sport..... not to the rules, not to the clubs, not to the players, not to the referees..... but to the direction-makers that sit above the AMAZING sport that ours truly is.

You might be getting your wendyballers mixed up. It's Tony Adams, the ex-Arsenal defender, who's been given a role. Stuart Pearce is just a fan, I think.

Well you obviously said what you believe or you wouldn't have said it that's called an opinion, and no you did not say everybody had to agree with you and I didn't say they had to either, and yes you did say grudgingly imo, that he was also entitled to his opinion which is what I pointed out to you in the first place, so what's the point your trying to make?

Genuine question are Kershaw and Hooley with us or out on loan again this season?
You say it’s not as important but as Phil Clarke says “to win a game you must score tries” and MCB clearly can score a try so even for cover I’d much rather see him on the wing instead of Lyne or Mini beast, they’re much more important at centre.
MCB - 1 try in every 1.35 games
Lyne - 1 try in every 2.86 games
Mini Beast - 1 try in every 2.29 games
I hope to actually see Reynolds at our starting 7 at some point in the near future.
All I am saying is when we’re clearly strapped for cash given the choice between the two and depending on the salaries... Id of gone for MCB.'"
For someone who couldn't care less you seem to care a lot

| Can't understand why the Whinos haven't snapped him up, better than the cack they have on their wings.
Thought he might have ended up back at Salford.

We’ve pretty much spent up to the cap, hence why we haven’t been able to bring in the prop we wanted and needed (Ikahihifo from Hudds allegedly).
Why can’t you lot afford him....you’re plenty under the cap according to Carter (around £400k isn’t it)???

Irrelevant if you've used your budget.

That's quite funny printer.
It shows how different our clubs are.
You see the only reason to not be able to spend money is because the salary cap won't let you
Whereas our reason for not being able to spend money is because the bank won't let us.

To be honest, that should be the only reason for ANY SL club not to be able to spend more money. With all due respect to Caron Brown he isn’t exactly a £100k a year wage player, he’d be a 3rd choice winger that was in the Chanpionship and now looks to be unemployed on the eve of a new season, doubt he’s going to be too picky when it comes to a wage right now.

Might not be £100k a year winger but I'm sure if Leeds were interested, he would be.
He was 3rd choice at Wakey, we offered him a deal but he wanted regular rugby.
Haven't you given Luke Briscoe a 3 year deal?

| It's a shame for the lad to not be sorted at this time of the year when just about all teams will have spent their budget. Just looking around Sl teams he'd easily get a starting place in quite a few imo. Some teams are crying out for pace and finishing ability and he certainly brings that.

Yes we have...and???
Yes he wanted regular rugby, but if he’s out of employment now so I’m sure he’d take up a Wakefield offer even if it was 3rd choice.
If Leeds were interested he’d wouldn’t be £100k, he’d be whatever we offered him and it wouldn’t be anywhere near that.

I think I know which winger I'd have offered a 3 year deal to.
If you've spent up to the cap, you must have some exceptional players.
But sometimes how much you pay players, doesn't necessarily make them any better than the players at another club not up to the cap.

If you had the space would you have him at Leeds?

Was Caton Brown a free agent when we offered Luke Briscoe a deal? No so pointless comparing the two as if it was a 50/50 decision on who to sign.
Well, 12 of our top 20 players have won GF winners rings, so they’ve earned better money even if last year didn’t go well. Plain and simple if you’re part of a team that helps your club win trophies it will be reflected in your wage. The only SL GF winner you have in your squad is BJB and he won that with Leeds.
