With all due respect to Caron Brown he isn’t exactly a £100k a year wage player, he’d be a 3rd choice winger that was in the Chanpionship and now looks to be unemployed on the eve of a new season, doubt he’s going to be too picky when it comes to a wage right now.

It's a shame for the lad to not be sorted at this time of the year when just about all teams will have spent their budget. Just looking around Sl teams he'd easily get a starting place in quite a few imo. Some teams are crying out for pace and finishing ability and he certainly brings that.

If you've spent up to the cap, you must have some exceptional players.
But sometimes how much you pay players, doesn't necessarily make them any better than the players at another club not up to the cap.

Well, 12 of our top 20 players have won GF winners rings, so they’ve earned better money even if last year didn’t go well. Plain and simple if you’re part of a team that helps your club win trophies it will be reflected in your wage. The only SL GF winner you have in your squad is BJB and he won that with Leeds.
