At 250000 we need a gate of 11000 all paying 22 quid to pay the rent. With gates of 5000 it will take 2 home games to pay the rent before we start with wages etc. If we pay dewsbury 100000 that's a gate of just over 4000 , that's about what we are achieving at present.
I seem to remember M C saying he would be able 5 manage with gates of 4500 or am I imagining that.

Do you really think 4k is an achievable average at Dewsbury considering we will more than likely struggling at the basement end of the table (survival dependent of course)? Maybe if the fans are sold a convincing vision of were the club is heading we could hold on to existing fans. My biggest fear is the fans give up and we'll just be like Swinton and Oldham facing a slow terminal decline or maybe a move permanently away to another City.

I reckon it'll be 2-3k max against the teams with the larger travelling support at Dewsbury if Trinity are still in SL, sub 2k if not.

I have no idea how many will make the short trip to Dewsbury if that's the choice. M C will do his sums and if it adds up off we go. I also didn't say we would get 4000 at Dews.
I would much rather stay at B V but we have already been told that the rents well over the top .
Like I said I'm sure M C said he needed gates of 4000 to 4500 at the end of last season to enable the club to field a team capable to compete. Now if that was based on a rent of 250000 a ren't of 100000 per season could show greater rewards.even if only 2000 turn up.
