IMO the reason we were favourites for the chop was because we were the favoured candidates with RFL and they wanted it that way, the media just compounded that theory. No amount of facebook/twitter or pub gossip had any affect.
The RFL had our heads on the block and if we are being totally honest as bad as other clubs were at that time we were worse. Our only saving grace was that we had a new owner who was trying to make a go of it and had started writing the wrongs of the past.
Had we have not had that change i think it would have been a fair execution, fate had other ideas.
I would say that on reflection that has been a good thing, because by and large things are far rosier than they were, but we like a few others are always going to struggle financialy (until we can make significant enough a stride forward) - weather that is the nature of those/us clubs or the nature of the game is a matter worth its own thread.

What you put yesterday was disgraceful you don't have the club at heart posting that. If it is true you cannot put it in the public domain first. Bang out of order if I was you I would trot along and don't argue the fact, as you quite clearly were in the wrong !

Like i have said, read all the post on AG twitter, some people on here have said a lot worse, club at heart, you have no idea, i have done on here, you have not got a clue what i know, some on here do know me and will say i do know what is going on. If it is true there isn't an issue but of course the IF is the problem.
If you don't know for sure you are risking being the cause of a disaster rather than reporting it.

However, it is clearly just a mistake on Bazzo's part. It's not like he is trying to take the club down.
The people accusing him of not having the club at heart are simply jumping on a band wagon with no real insight into his motives. Think that needs to be let go before we go all Lond of the Flies here.

I'm not justifying anyones actions here, i would advocate that people have the right to free speech where appropriate, i dont think the Op of the locked thread has broken any laws etc
The argument that posting such comments could be viewed as harmful to the club is valid, but so could (if true) some of the many other rumours that hit these boards, as could the clubs perceived practises of runnining up ccj's.
The day we cant ask questions if we have a ligitimate concern is the day we might as well all pack up!!!

Indeed, despite the general blasé responses from the club the Winding up order and the numerous CCJ’s now marked against Trinity will do far more damage then title tattle on a forum.
