| I daren't lol.
I just want to beat wakefield in every game we play them. After that, I love rugby league and have a lot of respect forevery club.
When Cas are away I go watch wakefield if they're at home- not cause they're my second team, I just like watching SL rugby and I'm happy to put my money into maintaining that.
Only thing that angers me is getting stereotyped with the nutters when I actually put money into Wakefield as well as Cas

You should worry - me and IA were public enemy's numbers 1 & 2 - and we never said a word against GH and only told them what we knew - if they bothered to listen. The amount of lies being told to support GH - almost all by RW and his cronies - was unbelievable, but yet most seemed to want to believe them. It did kind of achieve something, but was always doomed as there was little substance in it, especially so in the past 3 years as money has become more and more difficult to get hold of.
I like the idea of WR being renovated - a roof over the railway end and a complete re-build of the main stand, allied to some improvements to gates / toilets etc elsewhere would make that a sound ground! But again, getting hold of the money won't be easy!

It sure will, although the bile in your mouth may become intolerable.
Must be nice to see investors putting money into a stadium project. Pity your lot never got that far. I'm sure your next project (your illegal wooden stand) will be just as fruitful & like many others can't wait to see your monumental fall from grace when CT come in for a slice of NM.
On a serious note this must be literally the last straw in your hand, keep a tight grasp on it.

| On thesubject of Cas sharing Newmarket ,it would make sense as Newmarket is slightly nearer to Cas town centre as it is to Wakefield city centre. It is also a quicker drive from Cas due to the motorway.
Possibly the two clubs could come up with a discounted season ticket to enable spectators to watch both teams ,creating extra revenue for both clubs.Obviously many supporters would say that they have no interest in watching a rival team but many people would be quite happy with such an arrangement ,especially if the price of a combined ticket was not much more than a single ticket.

How about a merger?

| What Alf posted was true.
A group of investors have bought 66% of the rights to the stadium/MUGA from Yorkcourts respect.
Yorkcourt will still own 33% of the rights.
From our point of view this is a great thing. More money is being pumped into the scheme. After all the scheme as a whole is redundant without the stadium, therefore any monies being put into this part of the deal (which was always a drain from the point of view of the developer) will ulimately show how viable the scheme as a whole will be.
After all the stadium is/has always been the sweetener, something Yorkcourt have had to include to meet the special requirements, if someone wants to put 66% of this up (66% of £15,000,000= £10,000,000) they must be dam sure it will happen. And after all once the stadium is completed it is transferred into the hands of the Wakefield district trust (a not for profit company) & will no longer be in the hands of YC/their investors.- All of this was stipulated at the Public Inquiry & in black & white in the 106.
I want to assure people Alf is correct, but will undoubtedly seek to unnerve you/other RL fans in the next few months. He has always claimed "the pie would be cut up" once PP was granted. This is true, but unlike he would have you believe this is nothing more than how the world works. He gets his info re:NM from company house. Which shows a sale of 66% of the business, what it doesn't show however is the deal in question. Example: You front 66% of the cost of the stadium for x amount of shares & we give you 20% of the total profit of the development.
Investment isn't a bad thing, in fact something we should celebrate. J32 never got near this stage. Alf knows that as well as anyone, hence the rise in bile.
A rant I concede, but I want to put WTW fans straight on a few lies he may peddle over the next 4 weeks.
All of this info re:a sale at Yorkcourt is 100% true as I'm sure TRB will verify. But unlike Alf would have you believe I believe we should rejoice!

that wouldn't work for me, you'd be expected to coff up twice as much as we pay now and I'd have no interest in watching cas

What we pay now isn't fixed, as we saw this year from last.
We will be expecting more members paying more every year.
In turn we get a better quality product year on year (or so the theory goes) with less input from Glover.
By the time we reach NM (2015 season) You can expect ST's close to £180 IMO, but with a capacity of 12,000 & only 2,500 home standing tickets (stand behind the sticks) available you can imagine a rush to watch WTW in our new home. This is why I've always wanted a "home only" stand behind our sticks at BV. Breed the atmosphere before we move. Which IMO has begun with the Northstanders of 2012.
Northstanders of 2012 to a bow.

and that is what I do expect an increase that justifies a quality team and the club then managing to run its self as it should, try to add a dual club to the season ticket and it would double again and frighten a few away and that would undo the hard work

FWIW I think the "cull" that will come in 2014 will eliminate this treat. I expect SL to go to 12 teams, If we're at NM with close to 10K of fans I can't see us grouping us with Cas/Salford (One having fan potential but crap groud, the other having the ground but no fans).

| I think that many have Fev as their second team.
Perhaps would have worked with them , but obviously no chance now.
