I know someone who's taken up the option for two when he has no intention of taking them.

| I would hope not but nothing surprises me as it does the club no good at all and will deny some genuine fans the possibility of not obtaining a ticket.

With the wat that season ticket sales have gone, there may need to be some kind of system for "giving back" unused kids tickets ?
We dont want to have "sold out" signs up and loads of empty spaces.

Exactly what I've said to my mate, it's great to have the option to take them but he's a really negligible father to put it straight and can't see them attending more than 1 or 2 games.
The rest of the year there will be 2 spaces free, that real fans miss out on.

| That's always an issue as some people will always take out for nowt. Think the majority will have taken them for the right reasons though.

In fairness, nobody will have anticipated the level of demand for season tickets.
The avalanche of interest and sales must have exceeded the most optimistic forecasts..
The last time there was anything close to this was after Glover took over (with the £80 season ticket deal).
It's exceptional.

Not only that, but won't it affect the 'actual/sold' attendance re IMG?

| I've got a season ticket for my little lad with my ST, he will probably attend half of the games (6 or 7) throughout the year but he can only come with me (sit with me) and there are certain games I can only go to with him, unfortunately it was either don't bother at all or take advantage of what seemed to be an incentive from the club to try and get family's to the games. I know someone else in a similar situation, they have bought 3 adult tickets and added a kids on that might only be used 3 or 4 times in the season but because of circumstances, probably wouldn't have bothered with season tickets had they not had the option to be able to bring the kid on the occasion they need to so it's swings and round abouts really, it's a pretty ignorant view to take without actually knowing someone's circumstances as to why they might have taken then option up.

Then why not go for a Northstand season ticket? It's a lose, lose in this scenario because of people like you.
It's ironic you mention ignorance though. Through sheer ignorance, selfishness and arrogance (with you) the club lose out.

| Anecdotal but it just shows if you get the on field product right people will come.
My brother attended the Wire game last year with his wife on a freebie. They went to every game after that home and away. Never really had any interest in rugby prior to that.
Rang them today to see if they were going to get to any games in the Championship and they had already bought season tickets.
It’s that market we really need to capture along with the stay away fans. We maximise impact there the club will be very well placed moving forward.

People like me? Again your ignorance shines through, you assume my little lad can stand, unfortunately not everyone lives in a perfect world.

I would support that especially considering the North Stand is looking to be sold out. I would imagine it would be pretty awkward. Maybe put an halt now on the free junior tickets for the Northstand?
I must admit if this is the worst for our problems I'll be happy with it.
