I'm assuming Ashurst won't go with us to SL so Storton is a good replacement.
Good as he is I'm not sure Griffin is the one to see us through either. We need another impact second row.
I'd keep Pitts. He's earned his place for me and his leadership will be vital.
Those overseas places are valuable so it depends who is available before we decide on a Parcell or Martin.
I'm still waiting for the Cleary rumour. '"

| would keep Pitts and griffin, Griff mainly for a squad player depending on £'s. Pitts would be a big part of my leadership group next year if I was DP

Agree but Griffin would be an impact SR from bench and more of a rotation squad player rather than a starter. If the salaries would reflect that and adequate for both parties then we will see.

| Russell appears to be covering the hooker position for Huddersfield.

I agree starting with Doyle with Parcell off the bench is improving the squad for SL. Nothing against Hood but I don’t think he offers as much….Griffin as impact second row for a year aswell.

| The only second rower I'd keep is Griffin. As good as they've been, it's time to move Pitts and Ashurst on. Both are Championship standard at best these days. Storton is just the kind of signing we need. Solid, nothing flashy and hard working. Whether that'll be at prop or second row, I'm not sure.

Pretty sure that Storton is a second row. He’s mainly started there or come off the bench there. He has played a few at prop but not many.
We have Uele, Rodwell, Atoni, Mckmeeken, Vagana at least so I can’t see him playing prop.
Speaking of props. Is Shaw signed up next season?
Not heard anything on George King lately but I wouldn’t mind seeing him back in a trin shirt next season.

Personally I thought playing out of position he was one of Hiddersfields better performers especially seeing him getting stuck into the tackling

| I thought I saw a trip by a Leeds player, early in the first half when he dropped the ball and recovered by Huddersfield. He certainly raised his leg and made contact but it was not commented on at anytime.

Nathan Cleary would look gash in that team at the minute wouldn’t he. Adam Clune looks lost. Russel tackled anything and everything, that elbow from Lisone would have knocked a lot of players out yet Russell still hung on. Looking forward to seeing him with ball in hand with us.

Top teams have halfbacks that can defend as they are targeted so much.
He and Trueman will work well together.

Totally agree. There’s no point in been a wizard with the ball in hand but a turnstile in defence. All top line half’s have great defence. If Truman signs that has the potential to be a potent combo.
