Not sure professional is the word i’d use to described him over the years! He did balloon up to 137kgs by doing nothing and living off fast food in the off season and was by his own admission a ‘fat mess’. Kudos to him for going in a juice diet losing the weight, hopefully he has now seen the light and keeps it off. If he does he could be a revelation.

Come on, I meant on the pitch. When he plays he doesn't play with a smile on his face, unlike Dave.

Tbh was a bit shocked when I went on line to see what the current ban was for , tapped in Andrew fafita ban and was quite shocked at how many hits I received. Including abusing a referee, a proper close line late tackle in 2015 etc

Really hope we sign this guy but does seem a totally different individual to his brother

Andrew is hard as nails and with that comes baggage, we can't have it both ways. He will either be a superstar or a liability but frankly, we have no choice, our pack is stale and if it doesn't move up a gear we will go down or very close.

Still the coach, not the players icon_rolleyes.gif

Duff tactics are one thing and open to debate. However the coach doesn't make them miss straight forward tackle, he doesn't make them run the ball in without venom, he doesn't make them give away lazy penalties, he doesn't make them do any of the basic errors they currently carry out on a regular basis.

If you think getting rid of CC would improve our pack, then it just justifies my point, the players have been dishonest to some degree. I don't doubt for one second that CC has played a part and will have some inadequacies, who hasn't other than you and your fellow experts. However, to pretend he and he alone is totally at fault is truly pathetic IMHO.

We need to sign a prop now Tangata has gone!
I’ll take a chance with AF same as I did when we signed Bill Ashurst.
Ok Bill only played about 29 games but I wouldn’t
have missed seeing the best second row forward I ever saw in the RW and B.
Anyway we ain’t signed him yet!

We have won 9 games over nearly two seasons, these are the majority of players he has signed. How many times have players joined the club look impressive for the first few games then just fall back into our pattern of play dictated by the coach.
He picks the team, he gives them a game plan if they aren’t following it why only bring in one new face. It is not possible even for you to defend a 19% win record or is he trying to fool other into thinking we have no clue what we are doing.
I unlike you am not an expert but I know what I have watched and it is not just occasionally bad it is in fact very rarely good. I wonder how many games you have watched again on trinity tv recently.
We are which ever way you look at it poor, I have never known any team in any sport being blamed this always falls to the person in charge which for far too long as been Chester. I can see it and I am sure many others can, we have been close to relegation on quite a few occasions but this time I think our luck will run out.
I also get you don’t like David Fifita but for one of the reasons being he smiles on the field, that’s a little abstract and let’s be honest there is not much smiling at the moment.
I look forward to your reply explaining why we should persist with Chester because I fail to see why.

Are you Steveo in disguise or do you have some sort of statement app to throw random garbage on to our forum ?

“Andrew is hard as nails and with that comes baggage”
What sort of statement is that?

A player being tough doesn’t mean they have baggage
I could give a million examples as such
One close to home
Josh wood is hard as nails
And that’s correct! No baggage

Regarding AF being a superstar
You’ve said many times you don’t watch the NRL
So let me help you, as I watch lots of NRL

AF ‘is a superstar’

Totally agree his kicking is unmatched these days he’d kick 40/20s for fun and his ball handling skills for a forward like no other. Saw him score at home broke chipped it over full back and regained and scored. He comes over when Wigan play and he’s a great affection for our club. When he took the coaching job the BOD sold all the players and we went down but he loved his time here even playing on one leg

May be wrong many a time I have been but think it was down to bad injuries that Wigan let Ashurst come to us think he was about 28 .I agree about him been up there with the best ball handling forwards we have ever had .His all round game was great Was a player that could win a game on is own and offten did .A gamble that paid of .
