MC has said on twitter that KL has not flown home. I dont like it but beleive we must be pragmatic and use these two players to help ensure survival then get rid.

Smith if playing at his best is worth playing.
Locke, although I really like him, could easily be replaced by Jowett. I really like him.

I would like to see as many 'home grown' players playing on the understanding that it is up to them which league they will be playing in next season.

That puts lot of pressure on the young players.

If playing at his best.....he is entirely unreliable....seen him turn it in give up and not give a toss so many many times....this is the nature of the "man" Most over rated player I have ever seen. The bloke is rubbish on every level. poor timmy the depressed tortured genius......maybe if he grew a back bone and behaved in a way that gained the respect of others he might have a better opinion of himself ....or he could just go on the lash and think feck it I am a superstar and the rules don't apply to me.

MC since clarifed that he was refuting the allegation on a tweet that Lyne had an existing drink driving offence. MC did not state Locke hasn't gone home.

There is a posting on instagram doing the rounds between Godinet and Locke which clearly indicates that Locke has gone home. No official announcement yet from the club.

The fact Locke has posted it on social media makes me suspect he has left the country.

I agree it does but IMO you do get a guaranteed sense of commitment from them that has been lacking in some of our more senior players for a lot of this season.

These guys just want a chance to play, in a Wakey shirt and to prove they are good enough. From what I've seen of all 3 of the ones that played on Saturday, they ARE good enough. They might make some mistakes but it won't be because they've just given up or decided they're not in the mood today.

Let's get some local pride back in the side and if we go down at least let's go down fighting, not with a whimper, feeling sorry for ourselves.

Maybe your right....I am not any sort of medical expert and probably did jump into that comment both feet first (through frustration). Through my own experience in life I have always felt that if you do good stuff....do the right thing....make good choices then the effect is that you feel comfortable with yourself. self esteem surely comes from behaving in a positive and socially acceptable manner.
I am disgusted by his behaviour.......aside from the drink driving allegation....its the failing to give a sample that also riles me.......for christs sake if you've made a mistake (a massive mistake) then surely the right thing to do is to put your hand up and accept the consequences......that's what a man would do surely...hope I never see him in a trinity shirt again......I cant forgive this.

I think it's a sad situation.

He has shown some of the most skillful individual moments ever seen at Belle Vue (and I realise how biga thing that is to say) but at the same time he has shown some of the most poor in terms of skills and poor in terms of attitude. He should have been a notable player in the game as a whole (rather than a great) but he will just be washed away as a what could have been kind of player.
But no matter what "individual moments" he has shown, he has to go now for me.

Some people blowing things out of proportion here without knowing the full details, not condoning what they've allegedly done but people make mistakes. I've looked on Locke's Instagram and he hasn't posted anything to say he's gone back to Aus.

If you look at how Tim Smith was playing in 2005 when named young player of the year he was just magical had it all pass/kick reading the game and had he kicked on we would have never seen him at BV. Trouble was he did not and ended up with Para saying enough after constantly going on the lash if only we could have seen the full version of a 20 year old Smith at his best alas we only got an odd glimpse of that and not much of it this season. I could go with him playing for the club again if he had put his hand up and said he had a problem with the alcohol again but drink driving no way would I be happy with him ever playing for the club again.

I would ask if this was a one off episode or if it was the usual way they acted every week prior to games.If so it would explain the drop in their performance which has probably resulted in our not avoiding the million pound game.A total lack of professionalism !
