I’m not logged on 24/7, but have been today, but also have my own business, and have been doing the books for the month of July today. I also have involvement with the setup of a business overseas now, too, which is taking up time. Added into that, a wife who was taken ill, on a girlie holiday with friends after having her drink spiked. Yeah I’m really going to be logged in and commenting on a sport, and a team that as much as I care, I have no control of

Hope your wife is feeling better now Eastern. That's horrible that her drink was spiked.

Happened last Saturday night, and I got the flight over Sunday morning.
Yes, we’re back home now, she will recover, but fell heavily and hit her head on the pavement.
It’ shook her up, she has massive swelling and black eye. Wake up call indeed, and a lesson to all, stick together

Well that should help motivate the team, how would anyone feel if the person in charge blames you for his failings. I doubt Fifita dropping the ball would be the reason for the defeat that was due to once again not being able to score for 70 minutes. I cannot believe the players would be happy with his constant berating of their performances.

It appears to be a growing problem both at home and abroad. It is so difficult to keep a drink in view at all times. I hope last nights result gave her a boost even though the game itself would not have been good for the cardiovascular system.

They're probably not, but they bloody well deserve it. How many of those players yesterday would you say had a good game or played to their ability level???
For me there are very few who could hold their heads up high after that - Jowitt and Kay are probably the only ones that I thought deserved any credit.
I agree that Chester needs to shoulder some of the blame but where is the personal pride from the players? I saw at least 10 of them out there yesterday that I know could and should have put in more effort. Yes, it is Chesters job to motivate them but if they're not willing to work for the team or each other then he's fighting a losing battle before he even starts.

I disagree, whilst I think there is maybe a few players not pulling there weight on the whole I now feel sorry for the playing group, in the second half we had 2 sets on there line where which just consisted of Fififta and Hampshire running side to side like you would see in a under 8`s game.
They have have no structure to work to, no plan B when pressed, no confidence in the man either side of them, nothing to work with, I genuinely believe if you replace that team man for man 1 to 17 with KRs and have Chester coach them for the last year, they would look the same. I was done blaming the players a year ago when every week its a different player, there's on common denominator here, players come in and look great they progressively get worse the longer they are at the club.
Batch is a prime example of it happening right now, I genuinely believe he is one of the most promising second rowers in the league, got dominated in every collision yesterday and right now is absolutely wasted in the front row, yet Chester believes he has found his best position? 2 or 3 more games before fans start bagging him.

Shambolic performance, baffling and simply not on, we should of caked walked that.

Funny how when Innes came to us last season, there were quite a few fans saying, 'what a promising player he looks with a great turn of speed'.
12 months down the line and he's crap.
One common denominator in this.

Let's be clear. He was sent to us because the Huddersfield coaches couldn't get his promise out of him either.

More likely they have better options and allowed us to give their youngster some game time rather than our own. Pointless loan signing with Kay, Kershaw, Johnstone, and even Greensmith who should be filling the 4th winger spot to gain experience until he moves inside

Or you could remember the reality and see that we had no one else with Covid and injuries.
He's had promising moments and plugged a gap when we needed it.
Chester hasn't made him a bad player no matter how much you want to blame all the ills of the world on him

You know that for sure then?
Well if he'd stayed at Shudds he'd still be the same player, not going backwards like all the rest at Wakefield.

That's not true, he was sent to us as his game time was looking limited with Hudds as is the case with most loan moves, if they didn`t think they could get his promise out of him then why give him a new deal last year?
