| Sick of reading that MC should put more money in to the club. He is not a rich man . He had some shares in Yorkshire Traction and made a bit of money when they sold out then invested it in Trinity. He took over as CEO when that dodgy double glazing salesman walked away after nearly bankrupting the club ( and we still didn't win anything when Glover was borrowing money to spend on players ) Those who are advocating he spends what little he has left should put their houses up in security for loans to spend the full cap. MC has kept the club alive and in SL on a shoestring because no one else wanted to put money in. He is an accountant not the owner of a profitable company like vertually every other SL owner . The only criticism I have is that over the last few seasons Salford have done better than us on a similar wage bill and similar crowds. I don't have the answer but I expect it is due to the coaches they have had and their smarter recruitment policy

(but I think you'll find Yorkshire Traction was the family business rather than him just having shares in it ??)

His dad Frank was the main shareholder I believe when they sold out to Stagecoach, he lives in Notton village, funnily enough about half a mile as the crow flies from little Wayne 69 who is apparently my good self

| I’ve got to say I’ve got my head round going down now, I was even looking yesterday at the away fixtures to look forward to.

I’ve no problem with that at all, it’s very entertaining and we’d be a big fish in a small pond. Sure I’d prefer SL but seeing as we haven’t been close to SL standard since mid 2019 and have only once troubled the play offs in twenty years I can’t say I’ll miss it.
Regroup and rebuild and maybe should we ever get the chance to get back up we won’t permanently be behind the eight ball.

Agreed it’s an even more tinpot competition than SL and with worse officials.
