On another point, I’m hoping Pratt’s opposite centre is T Briscoe
I think that will probably be the case. We could stick Hardaker on that side who is a bit more of a canny operator, but I've never really liked the idea of changing your plans because you are worried about the opposition. Should play to your own strengths. Besides, that left edge has defended well. Sezer has been solid, and Martin's pace can get us out of a few holes.

| Mr. Zucchini Head:
Should be a good game this. Both teams will rightly have confidence that they can get a result. My biggest concern (apart from the fact that you guys are playing well) is that we've played in two barnstormers in the last two weeks (Leigh extra time draw, Wigan comeback) and that has to have taken a lot out of us. Emotionally and physically. I'm sure we will have the right mindset, but if we are even just a little bit heavy legged or off the pace then you are good enough to exploit that. Watts and Eseh are both available and could feature. While I get the concern, Trinity have less recovery time than Hull FC by a day and have sustained 3 injuries in a match that looked quite a draining one down the middle vs Hudds. It may be a case of whomever handles the recovery better will have the better of the game. Sometimes though it’s hard to tell. Both teams have pretty much had a good start to SL with only a point in the ladder between them, though I’m not sure of hulls fixtures, trinity have faced a very tough start and come out well. Both teams will be confident like you say as both have been playing pretty well. Could be another close hard fought one this. Hard to predict, I’d like to hope being at home could give us an edge.

That’s great. I expect they’ll bring 1500-2000 which should see almost a capacity crowd. On Friday night too so should be a cracking atmosphere and game.

| It should definitely be a sell out if they bring that many. Our support needs to be big enough to fill the rest.

| 1600 sold and another allocation just received. Should be a good 2000 there.

| Assuming the returnees are properly fit you want to play them.
Pitts needs to play
I might save Rodwell as I wouldn't drop McM Atoni or Hamlin-Uele, so it's a question on Faatili and I think he's been getting progressively better. Depends if we have knocks.
Rourke is a straight swap into no.1 shirt.
Cam Scott, again assuming he is genuinely fit but hard to drop one of the centres. As he can play SR and we are weekend there I'd put him on the bench with Croft and Griffin starting, coming on for Griffin (or the other way around)

| I have a bench of Atoni, Faatili, Rodwell and Smith
I'd leave Griffin out, he's been out a very long time and was becoming a bit of a liability in the Championship. Scott I'd rather give a few more weeks with his history so Cozza and Croft to start in the 2nd. Both have good engines.

| I think it’s important that we consistently have good field position so have taken M Russell over Walmsley. With good field position we can play to the edges more often where I think we have the advantage. Second rowers will need to be 100% fit and capable of strong defence against Hull back row where Cartwright in particular will be a threat. We’ve still got a superb starting front row with solid players coming off the bench. Only returning player for me is Rodwell, I’ve got him on the bench but depending on how we want to control his warm up I may toyed with starting him. It’s whether we want to fully warm him up, massage, stretching etc and start him or give him an abbreviated warm up off the bench & down the touchline.
Rourke Russell Pratt Hall Johnstone Trueman Lino McMeeken Hood Uele Cozza Croft Pitts
Smith Rodwell Atoni Fa’atili

Agree with most of that but would drop Cozza, put Pitts at S/R, Rodwell at 13 and have Scott on the bench.
