I expect them to be missing no more than a few in Connor (maybe), Mau and Taylor.'"
Not what Hull fans are saying.
To be honest I have no idea but I suspect it will be more than you are suggesting but less than would make it a walk over.
At the end of the day it doesn’t matter what team Hull put out, it matters how Trinity approach the game. Full team and right attitude and we can beat Hull, wrong attitude and we could lose to their reserves.
Expecting a very hard game.

Hopefully we can take advantage and get the season off to a winning start.'"
Agreed, you have to view it that way even for negative Trinity fans. We look fully fit with Lino climbing walls last week and they don’t.
That is an advance no one can argue with that, if we exploit it well that’s another matter.

Their fans seems in somewhat of a tailspin this pre season. It was in the Leeds/Hull after match comments and the hull coach was quoted saying that a few would have played if it was a SL fixture.
Your probably right on the exact number it will be somewhere between but we will see soon how much is true when the squads come out. Your right about the attitude part. Be good for us to lay down a marker in our first home league game.

There is too much made of players missing - although Connor is an exception.
I'm sure we'll play better than against Fev but equally I'm sure Hull will want to play better than they obviously did against Leeds,

| In terms of players likely to be in the 17 we are definitely missing:
Taylor
Evans (banned anyway but now injured also)
M'au
Cator
It now looks very likely Connor will be missing too if the reports or a broken hand are true.
The rest sound like niggles that should be cleared up by round 1 but who knows.
The way this pre season is going a sink hole will probably open up on the training ground and swallow half the squad!

Wakey look like they could be missing Lino and will definitely be missing Tupou from what most would consider our starting 13. We aren’t looking in bad shape truth be told with only Croft injured otherwise. It’s rare for trinity after the past 2 seasons of what seems like constant injury ravaged squads.
It seems Hull are having a bit of bad luck this time round. There’s still time for things to change come round one I guess.
Looking forward to this game. Should be a belter!

| Yes, we for a change only really have Lino as a question mark with Tupou definitely out but probably covered equally by Hall.
Hull are a squad looking at the top so missing some shouldn't mean they are overly worried of us. We have to be at our best and take advantage.
Those early points will be a big lift for everybody if we can take them.

| Keep forgetting Luke Gale went there. He’ll play us and then miss the next 10 games.

You wouldn’t expect to see anyone doing wall climbing if they’re were major concerns over their leg injury. Here’s hoping he’s over it and ready for round one. A lot of missed hours on the training pitch hopefully doesn’t hinder the promising halfback pairing we saw coming to fruition end of 2021 in Miller/Lino.

| For me there is nothing to fear what I have seen of Hull our backs should be able to stretch them on the pitch and we out do them for pace. My concern is the middle where I think we are a bit light. Hull will have some fire power missing up front but regardless we need to make sure our tactics are right through this season as some teams might just go through our middle defence. I thought defensively at Leeds and Halifax on the whole the defence looked better however at Fev we didn't re4ally hold their forwards. The business starts in 2 weeks thats what counts.
